  1. What is this in the CyberTruck bed?

I'm interested to hear what the two new circles are in the bed. Both about midway front to back, on "slat" 3 from the edge. They are not visible in any photo from the reveal.
  2. Center Seat Delete Campaign!

I have had many times where one additional seat in my truck would have been extremely nice. As long as the seat / center console has storage and a wireless charging capability, I say keep the center seat. If people are worried about not having enough storage in the center seat/console (not...
  3. 📸 Cybertruck Spotted at Giga Texas Plant! + Interior Look with Yoke Steering Wheel and Performance Pedals!

But I would garner a guess that the people from the reveal that say they saw t-slots were looking at L-track. That was my point. Maybe I'm wrong. Either way, all things not explicitly stated as features by Tesla is conjecture.
  4. 📸 Cybertruck Spotted at Giga Texas Plant! + Interior Look with Yoke Steering Wheel and Performance Pedals!

Everyone keeps talking about t-slots and how people at the reveal saw t-slots in the bed... The t-slots is/are that one black line at the top of the bed sidewall. You can distinctly see them when you zoom into the pics that are from this angle. To me it looks like they are an integrated deck...
  5. 📸 Cybertruck Spotted at Giga Texas Plant! + Interior Look with Yoke Steering Wheel and Performance Pedals!

Anyone else notice the huge ground clearance when compared to the Chevy? Love it.
  6. Cybertruck Models Acceleration Comparison Simulator

Two things... 1) Everyone keeps calling the CT heavy. I disagree. The truck the CT3 will replace for me is a 3/4 ton diesel Ram 2500 megacab. The curb weight of that truck is 7300 lbs. Even a 4wd F-150 weighs 5000 lbs without the gas. The CT3 is estimated to weigh in the range of 5k to 6k...
  7. GMC shows off Hummer EV “CrabWalk” feature in real-world conditions

I do love that tight turn radius of 4 wheel steering. If CT had that, there would be no advantage that I can see (from the specs that have been published) of any of these vehicles over the CT. That is the number one major drawback of having a long axle to axle vehicle like a heavy duty truck...
  8. Independent Cybertruck Drag Coefficient Analysis Yields 0.34 Cd

the fact that EVs can have virtual smooth undercarriage contributes a decent amount to their lower drag coefficient. For the CT the sloped rear helps a bunch. A sideways teardrop is an excellent aero shape for a vehicle and the CT is very similar (although angular) to a sideways teardrop.
  9. Tow hitch, electrical connection and in cab brake controller

add my tow hitch nuts from my previous post and you have a full package with perones.
  10. Tow hitch, electrical connection and in cab brake controller

For traditional manufacturing, I couldn't agree more regarding having a receiver that is far over designed for the single motor CT. The thing is that Tesla doesn't put out options for things like this in their history. I would think they will follow their history when it comes to stuff like...
  11. Tow hitch, electrical connection and in cab brake controller

I highly doubt for the "stronger than a F-150" version, which really is competing against 3/4 ton trucks in towing specs, the hitch will be anything less than a 14k hitch. The stated towing capacity for the tri motor is "14,000+", so the hitch would need to support that from the factory. Since...
  12. CT's Airbag Suspension?

I'm pretty sure the CT will have a true air suspension...not just air bags or air springs to raise and lower the height. I'm fairly certain that Elon had talked about adjustability for ride height and dampening rates, etc. in the past. I'm also fairly certain that even the current lineup of...
  13. CT's Airbag Suspension?

I'm like you. I took my 2017 Ram 2500 and while it was still new installed a complete off-road suspension myself, put on different wheels and tires. This made the truck look the way I wanted and made the ride tailored to my needs. New springs, king shocks, etc. to make the truck still be...
  14. Apple iCar -- Your Thoughs?

But the Tesla screen glass will break.:ROFLMAO:
  15. Wheel covers have to be deleted.

I have a 3/4 ton truck with 35 x 12 tires r18 wheels...I'm fairly certain that is the same size as the CT prototype shown. On my truck, the tires protect the wheels from curb rash and other damage because they bulge out further than the wheels. In a truck this size it is inevitable that you...
  16. Elon Musk teases ‘lots of improvements’ for the production Cybertruck

The one thing I do like about the Hummer EV that the CT doesn't have is the 4 wheel steering. I don't care about crab walk, but 4 wheel steering could really improve driving dynamics and trailering. It's not a deal breaker if it doesn't come with it, but it would be a nice to have.
  17. GMC Hummer EV

If the Hummer EV Edition 1 were more in the $70k to $80k price range, it would be a decent competitor to the CT. The big drawback I see is that it has such limited range in comparison to the CT. 150+ miles difference in range is huge.
  18. Windows, Mirrors and Wipers.

The CT had the windows partly rolled down during the Jay Leno episode. If you watch the videos it's clear they were about 20% open. I'd be fine with side cameras because the it would be more aero efficient and produce less wind noise. There have been several theories on how the wipers may...
  19. Cybertruck vs Hummer EV

Those videos peaked my interest a little bit with the quadrasteer impact on towing stability and decreasing the turn radius for maneuverability. If you could keep a good amount of vertical travel and have ruggedness for more high speed style offroad, then it would be a welcome addition to a...
  20. Polaris partners with Zero My wish has come true. If polaris puts in powertrains from zero in their UTV's, it looks like I'll have to sell my 2017 Ranger 1000xp Crew in a couple years. Then I could partner up a CT with a rEV'd up...
