  2. Analysis: Will Tesla Have to Delay Cybertruck Production / Launch?

Seeing that a production factory is still a year out, there shouldn't be too much delay due to construction or suppliers. My only worry is whether Tesla will run out of cash or loans? It's factory footprint is already large with several facilities not finished. We all have our reservation...

  5. Will Covid 19 delay the Cybertruck build? [Related update: Fremont plant suspends production]

I'm 'distancing' myself in a small home with three young adult dependents. This is tough! You have to learn the right behaviors, safe routines and survival habits! The youngsters don't get it, they all will inevitably be infected. My dream of even surviving to take delivery of the CT seems...

"And in a month? Is the curve flat enough? I am fully complying with the 15 day plan but what comes next? We had 3 months to prepare, is 15 days going to cure the dereliction?" So, under the best case with the most restrictions on socializing, in person, COVID-19 will drag on for several...

  8. Will Covid 19 delay the Cybertruck build? [Related update: Fremont plant suspends production]

If production goes to zero in Freemont, production also declines almost as much, in Reno. Of course, they could switch over to power packs snd utility power projects at the latter. 5 quarters of shut down scenario seems not extreme any more, sadly. Leaving Tesla with no cash. But loans will...
  9. Will Covid 19 delay the Cybertruck build? [Related update: Fremont plant suspends production]

Giga Freemont operating at 1/4 work force today. As I mentioned in earlier post Tesla is not well capitalized to endure a severe recession. May need a big Govt Loan. No new CT factory soon!
  10. Will Covid 19 delay the Cybertruck build? [Related update: Fremont plant suspends production]

There's a caveat here. Many of Elon's best customers will get sick, and many will die. And they each may support one or more dependents. The projections right could now result in hundreds of thousands of family tragedies, in the next year, due to this virus alone. True, it may be...

  12. Will Covid 19 delay the Cybertruck build? [Related update: Fremont plant suspends production]

Folks, The bad news is a CT factory is going to be needed at all. I'm sure Giga Berlin has ground to a halt. The Americans returned home. Giga Shanghai is limping along. Tesla doesn't have e enough cash to self fund it, and the credit markets are crashing. In fact Tesla is badly under...
  13. Would you attend a 'Cybertruck Adventure Rally' in summer of 2022?

So, if Elon is thinking of building a new factory (after the pandemic) for CT assembly, operations by 2021 end will be pushing it to the extreme. More likely it will be completed in late 2022. So, earlirst scheduling of rallies in mid 2023 is more realistic. My own position in the queue is...

  16. Musk: Production Cybertruck Will Look Better Than Concept and Feature Advanced Towing Software

Calculate this: full load CT towing = 1/3 range, ish. Batteries suck for heavy towing. I hope for 3x more charging destinations, and trailer friendly setups to ameliorate the deficiency.
  17. Musk on Cybertruck: It's better than people realize... they don’t have enough information to realize its awesomeness

So the future of Tesla is to convert from a car selling company, (low margin, few assets, which are depreciating) to an autonomous rental company, (appreciating assets), as related last year at the Musk Autonomy Day. Thank God we reserved our CTs, as in 4 to 5 years they may only be available...

Foldable Ladders, and most other equipment can go in the vault neatly. Maybe the camper shell and accessories hook on there?
  19. At what point does FSD start assisting?

It's a nice notion, that your CT might be communicating with other vehicles, but yikes, the computational load might go badly exponential. Many unsolvable 'edge' cases exist which are not communicating. Say, for example, that 8 pt. buck staring at you!
