  1. Analysis: Will Tesla Have to Delay Cybertruck Production / Launch?

You mean construction business is essential .........up to what level.? Essential even if it puts general public in danger?? Unless it is construction for a hospital/ nursing home when people are dying with a pandemic. Use common sense, no one is going to approve of construction for a...
  2. Analysis: Will Tesla Have to Delay Cybertruck Production / Launch?

Agree with the delay. Definitely more time to save up money. I also feel that by the time it’s ready to be produced, the waiting list will be over a million.
  3. Musk: Cybertruck Gigafactory to be Built in Central US Location. Where Do You Think It Should Be?

In any case, the incentives offered by Nevada were better than from Texas (if any) at that time. This time though, the ball is in Tesla’s court and they seem to have the upper hand. I assume this time Tesla might include the clause of direct sales along with the factory. I have an eerie...
  4. Musk: Cybertruck Gigafactory to be Built in Central US Location. Where Do You Think It Should Be?

I'd love to see Elon replying to this advertisement (even if Tesla doesn't accept the offer). :D:LOL:
  5. How to tell your place in line based on Cybertruck preorder reservation number

Either way you are in a great position in line. Why worry? :D.
  6. How to tell your place in line based on Cybertruck preorder reservation number

What spreadsheet are you talking about? Where’s it available? The number is not at all matching with the number 615 k as posted by “Stumby”.
  7. How to tell your place in line based on Cybertruck preorder reservation number

From where did you get this information? Did you order one now?
  8. How to tell your place in line based on Cybertruck preorder reservation number

Well you are closest to me so far in the line. 272xxx here in WV :D.
  9. Cybertruck (Orders) Demand Would Take 3-4 Years Production to Fulfill Says Musk

Any idea where’s the reservation numbers stand as of now. The last I heard was around 550,000 about couple months ago.
  10. Clickbait or valid prediction? "Tesla Cybertruck Will Be Ford's Demise Towards Bankruptcy"

Exactly. My guess is Ford and GM will keep delaying their mass production EV pick ups for an extended period (but will produce some early versions to keep investors at bay) until they have a sufficient supply of batteries with good technology too. Apparently LG chem is coming up with their next...
  11. Will Cybertruck use heat pump or resistance heater?

I believe all the future versions of model S, X and 3 (of course also including Cybertruck) with all use the heat pump. It’s such a great idea I wonder why Tesla didn’t implement it sooner.
  12. Musk: Cybertruck Gigafactory to be Built in Central US Location. Where Do You Think It Should Be?

Did you guys hear about the “Bug F*king Field” (BFF) in Oklahoma. It’s gaining traction on Twitter. Pretty funny how they released the advertisement. At least it’ll get Elon’s attention. www.bigfuckingfield.com...
  13. Will Covid 19 delay the Cybertruck build? [Related update: Fremont plant suspends production]

So essentially they must stop all the profit producing activity such as making cars but continue profit draining activities such as payroll. :D.
  14. Musk: Cybertruck Gigafactory to be Built in Central US Location. Where Do You Think It Should Be?

I don’t understand. Are you voting for a worker’s union? I don’t know much about how unions work, but from what I heard it’s the least desirable in an automotive factory. That’ll actually kill productivity and make Tesla a giant sloth like GM / Ford instead of the lean and mean nimble beast it...
  15. Musk: Cybertruck Gigafactory to be Built in Central US Location. Where Do You Think It Should Be?

Apparently the Fremont plant in California is close to being shut down. All the more reason to open a new factory in central USA which should be much larger in scope and versatile to take on the slack if needed in such circumstances.
  16. No towing for Model Y, what about Cybertruck towing?

I hear you guys. It’s true. Model Y is not designed to tow as stated in the manual. But how many cars / SUVs you see on the road are towing anything at all? This is a mass market replacement for crossovers (which is in fact the modern version of car). CT should and absolutely will be able to...
  17. Musk: Cybertruck Gigafactory to be Built in Central US Location. Where Do You Think It Should Be?

I believe Tesla will try to avoid the mistakes it made when it selected the Giga Nevada in Reno. They probably went for the cheapest price and best incentives since Cash was hard to come by at that time. Later on they realized that Nevada kept Tesla at arms length by siding with dealerships...
  18. Musk: Cybertruck Gigafactory to be Built in Central US Location. Where Do You Think It Should Be?

Exactly. An issue where the middleman needs protection (by way of government rules) is proof that it is a flawed model by default. I heard in one state (Missouri IIRC) is considering a legislation to change that and surprisingly the dealership lobby was on board with the proposal stating we...
  19. Musk: Cybertruck Gigafactory to be Built in Central US Location. Where Do You Think It Should Be?

The problem with manufacturing in any country other than USA is that there’s potential for levies / taxes in future depending on future government policies. In addition it’ll lose its “Made in USA” label. Don’t want to see another foreign made DeLorean.
