CyberTruck production start date = April 2022

I’m hoping that Tesla takes a similar approach as the past with reservations, in that they will prioritize region and current Tesla owners along with trim level. Of course I’m being selfish, but I live in SoCal and am a current owner with a tri motor on order, so I hope I can jump up in line...

How can the Tri-Motor Cybertruck at $70k possibly be real?

Don’t forget the Plaid+ will have high end brakes, suspension, forged aluminum wheels, expensive tires, not to mention the wide body to fit the larger wheels/tires, perhaps a larger spoiler to name a few things.

What is your biggest Cybertruck question you'd like answered by Tesla before committing to purchase?

And just to clarify the last couple of posts, the rated range is battery at 100% under ideal conditions. As mentioned unless you are going on a perfectly flat road in 73 degree windless conditions you won’t get the rated range. You shouldn’t expect it nor rely on it. Every little thing makes...

What is your biggest Cybertruck question you'd like answered by Tesla before committing to purchase?

I think Crissa’s point is that wh/mile is the most important number for determining how much electricity you will be using. It seems likely the battery pack on the tri motor would be around 200kwh. If Tesla can improve the wh/mile then a smaller pack would suffice. I generally get around 450...

The misfortunes of a Tesla owner

I’ve had a good experience so far. Service has been good although much better in the beginning when they used to fix rattles and any little thing. The biggest problem has been charging speeds. I only hit 30 kw charge speed the last time I supercharged (v3 supercharger). Less desirable to...

    Charging speeds

Mine has about 65k miles on it. It’s rare that I charge to 100%, but 90% is about 221 miles. I figure I would get about 245 at 100%, thus there has been about 20 miles of range degradation or about 8%. I figure that is within the standard degradation. Keep in mind though that the 221 figure...

    Charging speeds

Sorry huge mistake! My car won’t charge past 50 kW, even at a v3 supercharger. It’s a 2013 P85+, and Tesla has indicated it is to preserve the battery pack and is normal.

    Charging speeds

My car doesn’t go much past 50 kWh anymore, so it doesn’t matter if someone rolls up and grabs the next stall over.

    Keyless entry

It would be funny to watch someone when it doesn’t work properly, making weird faces in front of their car. “Stop staring at the crazy lady kids”

First Cybertruck Deliveries Will Be Early 2022 - Per Email to Reservation Holders Pushing For Leasing of Other Teslas

I’d be worried they would say yes and then push me back further to milk a longer lease out of me.

    CyberTruck delivery date issue

How about a non-AP car with MCU 1 that doesn’t even have parking sensors? My extended warranty runs out in February 2022, I’m just hoping there will be some purist out there who wants a rear wheel drive with the + suspension. I just had the rear subframe and motor replaced, so hopefully there...

    Tesla is like In-N-Out

Good to know, next time my wife insists on In & Out, I’ll keep these tricks in mind

    Tesla is like In-N-Out

Hah! Believe me my opinion is a minority opinion in my house, my wife thinks I’m nuts. Don’t get me wrong I don’t dislike In & Out, I just like Wendy’s so much more.

    Tesla is like In-N-Out

When I saw the title I thought it was going to be a negative comparison. Because In & Out always sounds good, but when you’re actually eating it you are thinking, ‘it’s okay, but a Wendy’s burger is just so much better, and the fries don’t taste cardboardy.’

Cybertruck production gets closer as Gigafactory Texas shifts to 24/7 construction

I live in SoCal and will do a factory pick up if it’s available. It would be cool to get a tour while I’m there.

    Are the specs achievable?

Statistics do matter, but I understand the argument that most of the auto pilot driving is done on the freeway. I still love driving and will always want the ability to drive myself, but those mundane commutes I’m happy to relinquish to technology.

    Are the specs achievable?

For those of you afraid to drive with autopilot on: Q2 2020. In the 2nd quarter, we registered one accident for every 4.53 million miles driven in which drivers had Autopilotengaged. For those driving without Autopilotbut with our active safety features, we registered one accident for every...
