  1. FSD (Supervised) is now $99/month

No, once we actually get level 4-5 autonomous driving it will become much more widely adapted. The price will come down tremendously in a few years of this achievement. It will become a standard feature on mid priced and above vehicles. All of that will likely occur in about the next 10 years...
  2. New Mexico Deliveries Are Underway! My Cybertruck Delivered Today 4/9/24

You can have my Bernillilo delivery. Cybertruck just hasn't lived upon to my expectations other than I thought I wouldn't have it until fall 2024 when I ordered in 2019. This thread reminded me to check my App. Looks like there was a VIN if I accepted their order changes. I did not accept their...
  3. Colorado Springs - FS AWD Just paid deposit. Am I the 1st? Delivery 4-26!

No surprise at 277K in line. Tesla will continue to sell FS Cybertrucks as long as suckers like us fall for it. Honestly I'm thinking of cancelling the order as Tesla is starting to ramp up and still has too many issues. If anything the ramping up finally happening is going to make this worse.
  4. My first off-road trip in Cybertruck (Southern Utah) -- high speed runs + rock crawling

Glad it handled the roads well at high speed but the suspension looks pretty mediocre on those rocks.
  5. 1st Off-Road trip in my Cybertruck - Takeaways & Experience

FYI, a mile west of Parker, AZ and you're in California. While Swansea is a pretty straight shot east from Parker, I'm still confused. Didn't you have a map app that uses GPS on your phone going? I still throw in an old Delorme Atlas and Gazetteer as a back up in case my plans change or roads...
  6. Electric Pickup Truck Range Test to Dead : Cybertruck vs. Lightning, R1T, Silverado (by Out of Spec)

No kidding but not too many people worry about range averaging 40 mph (or 29 mph for a recent Cybertruck range test posted) Far more worry about range driving longer distances at highway speed.
  7. Electric Pickup Truck Range Test to Dead : Cybertruck vs. Lightning, R1T, Silverado (by Out of Spec)

Not if you tow. No one truck is best for every situation.
  8. Got my CT..Will I regret 2 100k cars?

I wouldn't have taken the vehicle without it being fixed. While the number will be small (?3000) for Q1 2024 deliveries, I can't help wonder what else they'll get some sucker to take before the quarter ends. At this point I'd give Tesla 2 weeks to fix everything or ask permission to resale the...
  9. Cybertruck engineer: things we learned with Cybertruck in Baja and will bring via OTA

They looked to be going about 20 mph but yes that was too fast for that rut. And it wasn't off-road but pretty routine desert dirt roads. The biggest mistake was driver selection. Plenty of vehicles would have escaped undamaged but certainly not all..
  10. Cybertruck engineer: things we learned with Cybertruck in Baja and will bring via OTA

I assume $1900 is a guess? That’s how much my windshield replacement was last year on my 2018 model three! My guess is $5000.
  11. Cybertruck engineer: things we learned with Cybertruck in Baja and will bring via OTA

Honestly, I didn't think of that. But these were either 2 clueless individuals totally out of their league on routine desert dirt roads or they were actually trying to break things on the Cybertruck.
  12. Cybertruck engineer: things we learned with Cybertruck in Baja and will bring via OTA

So it's safe to send 2 clueless individuals out on to mild to moderately rough dirt roads for the first time? This wasn't a race my friend. Go look at the video and see just how many seconds they had to back off the accelerator before they smacked into that rut.
  13. Cybertruck engineer: things we learned with Cybertruck in Baja and will bring via OTA

Give me a break. These roads look very similar to where I taught my 10 year old son to drive. He was already about 5'4' and my wife agreed that he should be taught to drive out of remote areas in the Mojave desert in case something happened to me. We routinely went 40 minutes from pavement in...
  14. Cybertruck engineer: things we learned with Cybertruck in Baja and will bring via OTA

So why didn't Tesla bother to get a driver familiar with driving on dirt roads?
  15. Cybertruck engineer: things we learned with Cybertruck in Baja and will bring via OTA

This was a complete joke. Besides some driving on the beach and some loose sand this was on dirt roads. I'm the first to admit my off-road needs are fairly limited. However it is beyond what is shown in this video. These tech bros seem to have never driven in the desert. In both the Sonoran and...
  16. Cybertruck engineer: things we learned with Cybertruck in Baja and will bring via OTA

Unless you have a Raptor or Tremor, no one pretends the F-150 is a off-road vehicle.
