  1. Center console/seat: who got it right?

 I was JUST having this same conversation with my wife this weekend! Told her I couldn't wait for the CT with side-by-side holders so she wouldn't have to ask me which drink is hers anymore! FWIW, the holder farther back is ALWAYS my holder in my Tacoma.
  2. Rumor: CT's spotted on their way to cold weather testing site

Now THAT would be an epic photo shoot.
  3. Does anyone else hope the funky hubcaps / wheel covers aren't in the final design?

I really like the look of the hubs on the prototype; blacking out the wheels. That being said, I do worry that they may be cheap plastic, easily lost, or readily stolen. I'd like to see these moon hubs in a matte black and to know what impact +/- they have on range. I'm with @Tinker71. I'm more...
  4. 📸 Cybertruck Spotted at Giga Texas Plant! + Interior Look with Yoke Steering Wheel and Performance Pedals!

Yup. I tell my wife that seat is for her all the time. I'm more than happy to pretend the pandemic is still going on and we can drive out somewhere remote for a little *ahem* drive-in movie time.
  5. Lordstown Endurance San felipe 250 truck.

Everything I've seen so far is that they're targeting work fleets. So primarily streets, construction sites, etc. AFAIK.
  6. Lordstown Endurance San felipe 250 truck.

Most fundamental difference I see here is that Aptera is VERY MUCH a street vehicle (and it looks awesome). Lordstown is going after a durability-minded market.
  7. Lordstown Endurance San felipe 250 truck.

Totally seems like it would be counterintuitive to me. Looking forward to seeing what happens in the race, though.
  8. Lordstown Endurance San felipe 250 truck.

I'm a big fan of this truck and love Lordstown's up-front focus on fleets (gives them key locations for charging infrastructure and service centers instead of trying to cover the map to start). Feels smart to me. I have had questions about the durability of hub motors as opposed to axial, since...
  9. Concerned about safety when driving your Cybertruck?

You may have a point and perhaps new vehicle buyers around here are more likely to buy the upgrades. I do see a LOT of RWD pickups on the road that would be more in the 25-35k range new. Not everyone is willing to do the math to understand the monthly fuel savings which, in the pickup world...
  10. Tailosive EV: "Why I'm Worried About the Cybertruck"

Nothing is going to go wrong, Crissa. Nothing.
  11. Tesla Releases High-Res Images of the Cybertruck

Right?! Glad I'm not the only one who noticed that. I hope it's multicolor b/c I'm running that thing electric blue all the time if so.
  12. Tesla Releases High-Res Images of the Cybertruck

It's the gift that keeps on giving... eh, sort of.
  13. Tesla Releases High-Res Images of the Cybertruck

A lot of the pictures are the same. Some of them are new, particularly interior. Higher res than previously shared on some of them, too.
  14. Gigafactory Austin Texas night shots - drone video

Beautiful! I am totally amorous over all of this drone footage (and tempted to buy a better drone as a result). Like some others, I do hope and believe that some level of production will occur before the building is "finished" (are any gigafactories ever really finished?). Maybe in...
  15. Tesla Releases High-Res Images of the Cybertruck

Shoot. Well, I could very well be wrong, eh? Maybe they are attachment points. I still hold out hope for sail pillar storage, tho. Totally renders. That's why the OP title has "Images" :)
  16. Tesla Releases High-Res Images of the Cybertruck

To my eyes, these look like very obvious hinges. And the bottom of the sail pillar triangle is pretty obviously a seam where I wouldn't expect one if there were no storage. In the origami style folding of the outer shell, there wouldn't be multiple panels here if both were stationary.
  17. Tesla Releases High-Res Images of the Cybertruck

Looking at my speedometer never seems to bother me.
  18. Tesla Releases High-Res Images of the Cybertruck

Adaptive air suspension should help a lot with that. "Another big benefit is that SUVs or trucks with the feature boast improved towing capabilities. In most of these SUVs or trucks, drivers can increase firmness when towing to account for heavier loads. That’s not true of SUVs or trucks with...
  19. Tesla Releases High-Res Images of the Cybertruck

I was looking at that shot, actually, and I wonder if the ...strap? on the A-pillar coming over the window is a grab handle for taking wicked turns in this beautiful monster of a truck. Also, check out the texture of the headliner.
