Thanks for the tips! I was able to hide the thick connector inside the 3D print housing. That allowed me to tuck all the wires between the grooves so it’s not visible. Nothing is sticking out anymore

yeah i don’t have abs/asa. So PETG will have to do for now. I sprayed coats of UV to help. I don’t park outside. But if it warps/melts. I’ll just reprint it again.

so I 3D printed the file provided (using Bambu p1p) and then I sprayed a few layers of UV clear coat on it too. Applied double sided tape to the bottom and was able to tuck more wires inside the housing (including the connector) so this is much cleaner Install! Super happy with the results !

the resolutions and night vision is superior on the hansshow. You can’t zoom in on the hansshow but you can drag your image up or down. Hansshow is a bit wider than the tailgate camera. I’ll try to take comparison pics later.

I thought the same thing. But wireless latency might be an issue. Plus the camera still needs wires for power too.

1. The mounted camera video feed gets a wider field of view (safer) 2. When I carry large items (that block the rear window) in the truck with the tailgate down. I can’t use my mirror or the tailgate camera. 3. I don’t like to look down at my screen for the tailgate video feed.
