Thanks for the tips! I was able to hide the thick connector inside the 3D print housing. That allowed me to tuck all the wires between the grooves so itās not visible. Nothing is sticking out anymore
yeah i donāt have abs/asa. So PETG will have to do for now. I sprayed coats of UV to help. I donāt park outside. But if it warps/melts. Iāll just reprint it again.
so I 3D printed the file provided (using Bambu p1p) and then I sprayed a few layers of UV clear coat on it too. Applied double sided tape to the bottom and was able to tuck more wires inside the housing (including the connector) so this is much cleaner Install! Super happy with the results !
the resolutions and night vision is superior on the hansshow. You canāt zoom in on the hansshow but you can drag your image up or down. Hansshow is a bit wider than the tailgate camera. Iāll try to take comparison pics later.
1. The mounted camera video feed gets a wider field of view (safer)
2. When I carry large items (that block the rear window) in the truck with the tailgate down. I canāt use my mirror or the tailgate camera.
3. I donāt like to look down at my screen for the tailgate video feed.
Do it! it is a game changer! Makes me love driving even more. I got the 8.2" CyberTruck mirror they have on their website.
