I would try Citrisurf 77 before sanding. Would be very surprised if that didn't work But you are right, it isn't a small job, you will have to do the entire side - or at least the top half above the bend. I tried just doing the doors on mine and this was the result...
I use the "base/plate" (Several short 2x6's in the bay along side the jack). They also provide a nice, larger footprint if you are in mud/sand/etc. and can also be handy to get more traction if stuck.
I would get the Beast again. The only thing I regret about the decision is the Beast *is* louder than the AWD (and the Lightning). However, that is not a big enough detractor to make me settle for anything else.
When I first got upgraded to v13 mid December, I noted that it seemed improved but was still crossing double yellow lines and even occasionally driving over medians when making left turns. That was after just a few days driving. However, since then it has not driven over a single median and I...
I finally got around to creating versions for the rear door. I just added them to the original model:

I used to have one reserved, too, back in 2009 - before they went bankrupt and got sold. I hope they are successful this time around but I'm not holding my breath.
It just doesn't make sense. Every year, it seems, another bozo thinks they were the first to think of putting solar panels on an EV. Most usually talk to an engineer or someone who understands math and physics before they make a fool of themselves but there are always a few who slip through...
I don't know if this was just a fit-and-finish issue with my truck specifically, but the center console tray did not fit well. It was too loose and would sometimes fall into the well below. I printed this spacer to snug it up and now it fits perfectly and feels much more solid...
On re-reading that, I realized it could be seen as an attack. Was not my intention. I was not intending to call anyone here "lesser people". That was more a general statement about folks who jump to conclusions about you based on what you wear or the car you drive.
Not only that, in addition to my keycard, I also keep a pair of folding readers in there! Hey, if I cared about appearances and the judgement of lesser people, I wouldn't be driving a CT now would I?
Another great video. Like the first, I couldn't stop laughing. Just like every other aspect, the final score was engineered to generate clicks. If you have a sense of humor, watch it. If not, keep scrolling.
Makes me want to eat some caffein pods, though...
There is also the concern of Tesla "in its sole discretion" reserving the right to ta take away free super charging for "excessive charging" . I think this was put in primarily to protect them from folks thinking they can power their home for free for the rest of their lives but maybe...
Similar. Although I like the new sound, the never revert back meant a big "no". In addition to the reasons you stated, I like that there is an old-school wire connecting to the old-school horn that I can tap into to install any after-market horn I choose. As soon as I switch to software, I...
There is over-current protection. I use the frunk 48V feed for my air compressor and it trips the breaker when I plug it in. Easy enough to reset it from the control screen. I've found that if I plug the compressor in first, and *then* enable the 48V power, it doesn't trip (must allow for...
