Hey I’ve only seen videos of the factory floor from Munro walkthroughs but honestly never really thought to deeply about which parts are assembled where. I assumed that the pedal parts were put together in Texas which is my mistake. Truth is: up until this announcement we didn’t really know shit.
The part came from Canada but was it assembled and installed in Texas? Not trying to troll Tesla either… legitimate assumption if indeed the problem originated during that part of the installation process.
I appreciate this proactive approach. The list hopefully won’t get too long for official CT recalls, but there is no shortage of minor inconveniences that pop up as well.
Voluntary recall for all CTs currently on the road… but the issue only happened for those who CTs were assembled using this unapproved step (most likely Texas manufacturing techs trying to make that part faster for end of quarter push and not considering the consequences).
