Surprised nobody mentioned this one from Sandy's videos...https://thedriven.io/2024/06/06/hi-sandy-tesla-engineers-pay-tribute-to-sandy-munro-with-cybertruck-easter-egg/
So has everyone gotten theirs that has ordered one? I took delivery of mine on October 30th down in Chicago. I am in Sun Prairie and we frequently end up in the Fox Valley and Dells areas visiting family. If anyone has any questions or wants to check it out, as promised, let me know!
Anyone order the new lower priced version last or this week? Just looking for timing comparisons...I ordered my AWD CT on Friday 10/4. Still no VIN or estimated delivery. Anyone else?
I also ordered later Friday with the same specs as you and have yet to receive my vin. Anxious, nervous, excited, and frustrated, all at the same time!
I'll be honest, this rumor has me pissed if it's true. I've bought 2 other Tesla's and had a tri motor CT reservation since day one. This is the first vehicle they're making that they are not honoring their release pricing (a 50k difference mind you from OG release pricing to foundation...

Looks like we can start the clock on the press showing up to Texas. Disassembly, packaging and shipping all need to happen, but we are at least getting closer!
The latest video really makes a good argument for the dual motors first, and one that actually gets me excited to move down to a CT2 from the CT3 I put my $100 on....the tax credit. 70k CT2 + 7k FSD is under the 80k tax credit threshold.
And btw, Brian replies directly to some people's...
On the earnings call tonight there were a couple important pieces of information. Elon said it usually takes 9-12 months to get a line up to volume production levels. Elon also said that CT would be at volume production in '23. So hopefully this means limited production starting Jan 1 of...
I'm with Crissa, I think plaid will be a high number, from there, it will likely match their 'advertised' prices.
Jacking prices up after the fact isn't a good look. They have always hit their targets before, and I'm hoping out hope CT is the same.
