Maybe it will be an option for some foreign markets, say GigaMexico, just like their Mexican-built M3ās are missing features that are standard in the U.S.
One of the last things I did with my father (a retired physics professor), in 2012, was demonstrate what we could do with an iPhone (talk, navigate, music, etc.). He couldnāt speak but his eyes sure twinkled in appreciation and he smiled for our selfie. He died a couple of weeks later.
He would...
I stick to my guns that you are rationalizing not purchasing. Despite all the claims to the contrary, I find Teslas to be very reliable and their warranty service unequalled. Tesla service is very easy to schedule and pay for *through the app*! If you insist on being old school and calling them...
You didnāt make me mad, I pretty much agree with your take. Sometimes it seems folks just want to wallow in difficulty just so they can justify not getting the truck š
It seems pretty basic to me, if you want the truck then void the cashiers check (if that is the real issue) and buy it in a manner suiting Tesla. For the life of me I donāt understand why youād stand on some principle for this. Youāre missing out on an amazing truck. Money is money, welcome to 2025.
Oh great, here we go again. Itās called Camp Mode in all Teslas because it keeps the HVAC on for environmentally comfortable sleeping. It was added to the Tesla fleet a few years ago, just like they added Dog Mode and Cabin Overheat Protection modes ā all are different versions of climate...
A lot of truth there but I wouldnāt limit it to teenagers. Thereās a lot of older folks that couldnāt bite the bullet in the end and are having to rationalize it.
I agree, my partner had a similar situation and did that instead of involving Tesla insurance. After getting strung along for weeks we gave Tesla a call and it kind of started over but suddenly the guilty partyās insurance was ready to pay out.
Yeah, that ā%efficiencyā metric is weird and I didnāt bother clicking on the video. I have 15,000 miles on my beast with a total average of 451 Wh/mi. Mostly flatlands but a few mountain range crossings. I usually target 75 or 80 mph depending on planned stops.
Iām looking for 3D files for the Tesla rack quick disconnect anchors. (The blue item in the photo). To be clear, I donāt want to make the anchors, I want to make brackets that fit onto them.
In the recent locked-down thread about parking lights there were some comments about using high beams. And in another thread someone mentioned difficulty with the wiper.
It is easy to miss but when you push the steering wheel button for either the wiper or the headlights, a menu option pops up...
