Agreed: At higher speeds, having the ability for all 4 wheels to steer in the same direction will help the truck glide between lanes and really reduce (if not eliminate) trailer sway as a result.
I love the Husky's in the back of my CT. I store my hunting clothes in them during season and they are waterproof so if the tonneau isn't 100% sealed, it doesn't really matter. I bought some at Home Depot for less than $35 and they have held up extremely well. They are stackable, so they...
This bodes well for my FSD satisfaction: I too have had to constantly press the accelerator to maintain the speed I want. The 13.x version have penalized me for doing so and it is annoying as hell. Lately, I have also been super frustrated when you turn on FSD and the truck immediately slows...
I do plan to mount a few emergency items (medkit, shovel, axe, traction boards) to the sail Molle Panels, but not until I know I'm going off-road. I don't want to lug that stuff around town / on trips and add unneeded weight. I bought the frunk Molle Panels, as well but haven't mounted them...
Top 3 for me (so far):
1) Floor bin under back seat: I have so much stuff I cram under the seat, the storage bin does a
great job of containing/hiding it from view
2) Center caps and lug covers: I bought a set off of Etsy and I like the look of them so much that I will probably resell...
I like the idea of using the Molle panels to position the heater. I just bought some panels for mine for keeping some items off the bed floor (and out of the way).
I wonder what the power draw/heating efficiency would be between using built-in HVAC and a ceramic heater? I know those ceramic heaters can really "burn" through some electricity. Speaking of burn, that would be my biggest concern about using one in an occupied bed, the ceramic heater getting...
Has anyone heard any updates on this one? I am currently using Bluetooth to my phone and running the SiriusXM app from there. It's nice that you can go back an hour on a station and then have the ability to skip songs. It will be great when the truck supports SiriusXM natively.
I would also expect you will get more mileage out of a non-AT tire if the vast majority of your driving is highway or on a paved surface. I am surprised at how little road noise there is with the ATs, but I would imagine it would be less with all season tires and hopefully more range and...
#13 on that list is exciting. I wonder how long until the speed control under FSD is more consistent and closer to the set value? That is my biggest issue with FSD currently, I have to urge it to go the speed limit that is set.
As a previous owner of an original Scout, I sure hope they threw out everything from the original design. The damn thing was a rust bucket, the steering was so loose you had to go from 3 to 9 to keep it going straight, the lap belts were well, not safe. Half the time I had to spray the...
