I use that mount 7x24 (it is also my home internet backup) under the glass, as do others (cyberrig above). Mine has been there a couple months working great.
I used this: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6736755 to mount it on the inside of the glass above the rear center seat headrest. Use it everyday and it works reliably.
I can send you one tomorrow, but it will not include the machine screw. If you don't have the screw you can use an M4x20 in a pinch. No charge. DM me the address if you want it.
I guessed that the GPS antenna was the source of the interference (the metal disk shown here):
I tried to make sure the wires, and especially the main power, were as far away from the disk as possible.

The Hansshow is a game changer: It has a better night picture than the stock camera, plus you have the option of using it as a trailer camera (with the right accessories).
I note that the GPS antenna is above the mirror, and seems to be sensitive to interference. My truck complained a couple of...
Just completed an 1800 mile roadtrip with 13.2.2.1. Observations:
Much smoother driving. I like having more control over speed and lane-changes.
It seems to have a weird propensity to want to follow semi trucks that are cruising in the middle lane below the speed limit. Some argue that is...
My other truck (over 25 yrs old) runs 38s. I have used the spare twice, once out of convenience (I could have plugged it) and once due to a separation.
More importantly to me, on a third occasion I did not use it because I had taken it out of the truck. I had stopped for fuel and a hole blew in...
I am using the Hansshow product, and putting these on the dashcam connection: https://www.rearviewsafety.com/hd-waterproof-wireless-transmitter-for-simplesighttm-series-1.html
The backup cam will be wired, mounted on the roof, and the dash cam will be wireless for use on trailers. Hansshow has...
I had to push to get the installation canceled: Even after Tesla rejected the design, the installer held the credit until I explicitly told them I did not want to use the credit for any install, and I wanted them to release the credit. After that I got an email back in a couple of days that the...
The irony is that if used as intended, after it is "installed", I will be the one "uninstalling" and "reinstalling". I can't fathom the any argument where it is important that the SC install it only the first time, then the owner can do as many installs as the owner chooses.
Now it is "the spare will not be here until a couple of days before the service appointment." I believe them, with JIT and all. I would not want a stack of parts waiting weeks for installation. Does put me in mind of the old SNL "Land Shark" skit tho: Just keep trying a different story until one...
Then I found this: https://www.cybertruckownersclub.com/forum/threads/how-to-video-spare-tire-kit-installation-tire-change-aerocover-install.21493/ I am even more confused. Maybe I can get the girl from the video to install the spare for me.
