    CyberTruck SS Heat

Guess I'll have to paint mine olive drab.

    Rear Wheel Steering

H How about the actual final design update we were promised six months ago, rather than new potential features to raise the price and delay production of the CT?

That R1T "Forest Edge" interior is calling

Not being able to see the final design for the CT after six months, along with all the changes and higher prices at Tesla has me a little concerned as well.

    Any updates?

Six months while a million reservation holders continue to wait and wonder.

    Tesla canceled my solar roof

Tesla canceled my solar roof because they couldn't be bothered to recheck the site to confirm I'd removed several shade trees from around my house...so a competitor got the contract, and Tesla lost a $40,000 job.

CyberTruck production start date = April 2022

    Looks realistic if nothing else.

Elon: Cybertruck will not have door handles!

Sorry to say that's not a feature I like at all. I expect flush door handles, but not having them kinda sucks assuming a POS smart phone is the only way to operate the thing. Big thumbs down here.

First look at the Cybertruck’s 8,000-ton Giga Press!

Me too, my 24 year old Ford is ready to be retired.

Maybe I shouldn't wait for the CT anymore.

Hi there, Sorry hearing about Texas...I'm driving a 23 year old Ford PU, and just hoping it will last until the CT arrives. Don't cancel your reservation until you see how much you can sell it for when it does appear. Good luck.

    Cybertruck Crash Test Predictions

The crumple zones should be mostly from the megacastings, and I doubt the skin will affect that all that much that can't be designed into the structure. I will be just fine.

Chassis Materials (Stainless or traditional steel)?

Having a stainless body would be pointless if the undercarriage is regular rusting steel. I will cancel my reservation in a second if that turns out to be true. Update: Elon was said to have indicated they were installing an extra large casting press in Austin for use for production of the...

Who here plans on NOT babying their Cybertruck and will use it for heavy work?

Mine will be hauling equipment, firewood, building supplies, and all the stuff my Ford has, plus towing a small horse trailer.

Should Tesla only allow electric vehicles at their factories/facilities?

Yes, it will be interesting, and an opportunity to show how and why Tesla is better/different than the competition.

Should Tesla only allow electric vehicles at their factories/facilities?

Why not give employees a sweet deal on all TSLA products.

Car designer Frank Stephenson's view on the Cybertruck

Who really cares all that much what such a functional and durable vehicles looks like? The CT isn't for everyone, only those that appreciate true engineering genius.

    Cybertruck after warranty

I've managed to keep my Ford Ranger running for well over 200k, for the past 23 years, so I'm expecting my CT will be around for a long time after the warranty is up. I think we can also expect a big following, along with an extensive after-market presence to maintain and service the very hard...

CT vulnerabilities to persistent climate extremes

Hi Dave, That's an amazing amount of environmental damage considering the age, and only the last five years ungaraged. My 23 year old Ford has some cracks in the plastic control covers for the cruise control on the steering wheel, but that's all, and it's never been garaged. I'm thinking the...
