FSD 12.5.6.2 Update for Cybertruck next week

I'm getting this in my latest release. I have a lot of school buses that stop in the middle of a two lane highway in the morning and the CT just barrels in full speed despite all the read brake lights and decides to brake at the last minute. As soon as things get wet or icy, someone using this...

FSD for Cybertruck is released!!!! 😱 Now pushing to early access

Love how far FSD has come. I've been using it since its first beta. This release (and maybe it was the case in the past) is ignoring intersections where there is no stop sign for perpendicular traffic. We have this a lot in a town I live nearby where approaching traffic is coming up a very...

Iphone charging, overheating the phone, possible cause?

Really appreciate this report out. I'm going to start trying a few things as well. You've given me a great place to start!

Iphone charging, overheating the phone, possible cause?

I'm still waiting to see if anyone knows of such a magical device or if it is theoretically not possible. :) or I might custom cut out this: Amazon.com: LUCKEASY for Tesla Cybertruck 2023 2024 Wireless Charger Mat Car Center Console Auto Interior Anti-Slip Protector Pad Cybertruck Auto...

Add me to the list…. Crashed by a rental client

You know the deleted footage thing really had me thinking. It sure would be nice to have a valet mode that prevents deletion of footage. There is a use case with the rental situation here, but I'd like to have control of preserving footage when I loan the truck out to family or friends, hand the...

Ooooh. Totally misunderstood you. I remember driving by my first CT (while driving my CT) and I audibly gasped. It was like a thing in Doctor Who. My wife, of course, pulled out her phone and took a picture out of jest. I thought it was hilarious.

I can't believe you haven't seen a CT yet. I think I'm finally in the stage where a LOT less people are staring, pointing, taking pictures or giving you awkward smiles. I regularly see two other CTs in the St. Paul / Woodbury / Stillwater side (East Metro) so I think the strangeness might be...

FSD 12.5 starts rolling out in limited release (even to non-employees)!

The graphic actually says, "FSD for Cybertruck". I'm realizing they added that to make it clear they took it out. Not great way of doing it.

FSD 12.5 starts rolling out in limited release (even to non-employees)!

So does that mean someone doctored this picture or did Tesla just mangle this up by mixing actual release info and future release info? Not very clear! Blech.

Safety Incident - Accessing Pillar Door Unlock Button - FYI (pinch point = door gap between back and front doors)

It has become obvious to me folks are reading the initial post and not quite grasping the seqeunce of events. So, I suggested the following experiment to those of you who DM'd me and it hit the mark, so I'm sharing it here: 1) Go to your truck and open one of the rear doors. Leave it open. 2)...

Safety Incident - Accessing Pillar Door Unlock Button - FYI (pinch point = door gap between back and front doors)

Oooh. I like that idea! So simple! Some other ideas I had: * have the pillar button be a different color (not obscured enough to require someone to hunt) * bigger "white light"? * move the button up higher on the pillar a few inches? (my favorite) * have a similar rubber button as what opens...

Safety Incident - Accessing Pillar Door Unlock Button - FYI (pinch point = door gap between back and front doors)

Yes, it's a common injury. What *is* exclusive to the Cybertruck is the lack of a door handle away from this part of the car. The fact that you must place your finger in this specific place to push this button every time you want to open your door is unique only to the Cybertruck. I don't want...

    Door safety for toddlers

The position of the "open button" on the pillar is right next to a pinch point ... if someone is exiting or entering the car in the back seat. It's a timing thing to be mindful of. My father-in-law had a terrible accident last night. Spent three hours in ER. See link below. With smaller kids...

Safety Incident - Accessing Pillar Door Unlock Button - FYI (pinch point = door gap between back and front doors)

Hi all, I'm a CyberTruck owner since May and have over 1,500 miles logged. I absolutely love the truck and have really put it through its' paces. I had a scary incident occur yesterday that I felt compelled to share the experience with other CyberTruck owners. It's a situation where, if I had...

⛔️ Wiper Motor Recall + Sail Applique Trim Recall for over 11K Cybertrucks

I had the same response. Advice for everyone: Sit tight, wait for a notification via snail mail and/or your app. Setting up service appointments for the recall is just gumming up the works for folks who are already busy.

That's by design. If it is a light rain, it stays down to direct the water to the sides vs. back up the screen.

    Future PowerShare install concerns

The PowerShare unit was installed immediately to the side of my electric meter which is outside and on the opposite side of the wall where my interior breaker panel is installed. From there, I had the electricians run a cable from my breaker to the garage for a 2nd Universal Wall Connector...

⛔️ Wiper Motor Recall + Sail Applique Trim Recall for over 11K Cybertrucks

Does anyone have the answer to the question that has been asked a few times: How will Tesla be handling this recall? On a voluntary basis by contacting service? Or will they proactively reach out? Does anyone know? There does not appear to be a "recall" option in the app.
