Dang I'm so close to being sold on this price but I really want white. It's not worth $9500 more, but I'm hoping they will let it roll as a free option soon like they did with paint jobs.
Any word on if we can buy FSD for the $8k after we buy the car, or do you have to buy it at point of time?
I assume they upped the margin on SC's once they opened it up to all vehicles. It'd bring on an anti-trust lawsuit for them to continue giving the discounts to Teslas, and there's no reason to subsidize all electric cars in America. Unless they were sticking to their original mission that is
But the HASSLE of plugging in is gone, and for those without charging at home it saves trips to a supercharger.
Still not worth it from a fiscal standpoint, but neither is anything about a $120k truck
Tesla still considers demand for their cars to be infinite, they keep lowering prices either as part of their mission for a sustainable future, to stay competitive, or just because they're still run by engineers.
They price the Model S&X to cover R&D for 3&Y (at least in theory). The question...
True, but there's still a lot more levers they can pull to balance it out, they've just started in Canada and Mexico, they can lower the pricing a little, they can get the federal tax credit, and they can always promote changes to the vehicle and updates to the software.
I'm eagerly awaiting a...
If the Scout SUV was out now at that price I'd get it over the CT. I'm still waiting on what was advertised for the CT, I imagine this one will be overschedule and over budget as well.
I don't disagree, but look at the value proposition for the M3 and MY compared to their competition. I just don't think Tesla is going to stop finding more efficiencies and trying to sell more EV's.
With the Cybertruck hitting profitability and Wes (Lead Cybertruck Engineer) posting "back to the cost grind", when do we expect a real price reduction* on the cybertruck?
* IMO the ~$80k cybertruck isn't a real price reduction so much as a low-feature or stripped-down offering, since the all...
Have you done a demo drive? It's what convinced me to wait since after all the hype I've built up it felt so ...normal. I'll be waiting another couple months to see if the price drops since my current car still works.
It's still too far in the range of "look at me I have money" for my likes...

assistance or advice given to customers during and after the sale of goods:

If we're getting into semantics, the lowercase "s" in service covers both (and much more). I wasn't specifically referring to the branded Tesla Service but rather the actual services that Tesla provides.
Hopefully the real price drop happens once they are able to deliver same day. After doing a demo drive, I'm honestly not even sure I can still justify $80k if it were the same "package" deal as the AWD Foundation Series.
I have a foundation and regular reservation waiting for me. With all the now "add-ons" I'd do to the regular I'm looking close to the price of the foundation.
Honestly, I can't justify paying for either. I was hoping the $20k less would actually be $20k less, honestly it's just a gimmick price...
