Like Bob said, I think it just prevents the wheels from accelerating too quickly so that you don't lose traction.
I don't use it though, I just slow down a bit and take it easy on the pedals
The point of a tonneau cover is to be able to safely leave stuff in the bed of your truck. If I'm up in the snow for a week and want to leave my gear or other belongings in there, I don't want to have to worry about thawing and forcing my bed open.
Another post that makes me not want to take my CT to the snow :(
It's becoming more and more clear that Tesla did little to no testing in snowy/icy conditions with the CT
Most interior panels don't go on the same after they've been removed, regardless of who does it. Dealers/SCs are supposed to replace panels if they break any clips, but I don't expect them to do that (or even to treat my cars properly at all for that matter)
On top of that, it's not warranty...
Just got this email, looks like Tesla is sending complimentary cyber wheel caps for Cybertruck owners who have waited for the full size covers
The link takes you to the Tesla shop where you can pick up the set for free.
I haven't seen this posted before and I couldn't find anything through...
I would just leave it. You'll probably forget about it within a couple days, and if you pull the interior panels there's a good chance you'll introduce rattles or mess up a couple clips
Curious to see what they're mounted to and how much weight they can support. The OEM rock rails on my Bronco can support 1.5x the weight of the vehicle, but it's probably because they mount to the frame which the CT doesn't have.
Also, the rails will provide a good option for aftermarket steps...
Finally got the email to pick up my tire covers after 8 months, but I'm not even sure if I want to install them anymore. Guess I'll pick them up and make up my mind later
99.99% of Cybertruck owners won't be towing anything that requires towing mirrors, and considering how few CTs are on the road so far, it probably just isn't worth the investment for the suppliers/manufacturers yet
