A Unionized Tesla Workforce Could Benefit All Parties

I adamantly disagree with this post. I grew up in Michigan in the 1950s through the 1980s and witnessed firsthand the degradation of auto (and other) businesses by unions. Throughout college I worked in nonunion factories where the owners went out of their way to satisfy workers needs and...

It wasn’t the cocain that got him…that was entrapment, it was the missing 17M.

How starting a stainless car company can go wrong

If you haven’t yet, watch this docu drama about John Delorean and his ill fated stainless auto. There are many ways that a car company can go wrong. Thank you Elon for not going down this road. https://www.netflix.com/title/81092223?s=i&trkid=13747225&clip=81417708

Car designer Frank Stephenson's view on the Cybertruck

Odd comparison of apples and oranges. No mention of functionality because there is no comparison. Neither of the saloons could carry a load of lumber, go off road, house a full sized bed, or tow anything. My feeling just with regard to design is that the enduring design of the ultra futuristic...

Update: Cybertruck Full Self Driving (FSD) Option Now Costs $8K

Took a quick online used Tesla look, and many advertise w/FSD.

Update: Cybertruck Full Self Driving (FSD) Option Now Costs $8K

I don’t get why so many complaints...it’s an option, just let it go, and be happy with the free driving assist. I’ve driven both regular lane keep and speed control and there is no comparison to FSD. My model S has FSD from last year ($6000) and the upgrades just keep coming on line. Really...

Cybertruck may become the first Tesla able to vehicle-to-grid power your house

I completely agree. So many issues: battery degradation, code compliance, recharging. Seems like best to let the truck be a truck, get couple of batteries for your solar system, and if you need emergency power just run an extension cord from the bed!

Cybertruck Will Distill Water, Hints Musk!

This sounds like a problem in the making. Distilled water is not ideal for nutrition. Any water accumulation, whether in my car or my basement is a potential nightmare. Dry is good in my book.

Cybertruck may become the first Tesla able to vehicle-to-grid power your house

I got solar roof 10 years ago and Powerwalls last year. We have net metering but are paid about 1/3 for power produced and charged full price for power used. Central Hudson really has a scam going! With Powerwalls in the Summer I can charge all day and consume all night and still put a little in...

Cybertruck wishlist - options or ideas you'd like to see available?

I would like the solar panels to cover both the bed cover and the glass roof for almost double solar production. Cordless charging...especially important if I want to use the CT as a CyberTaxi, so it can come home, park over charger and recharge. If it has to be plugged in and out it is not...

Cybertruck (Orders) Demand Would Take 3-4 Years Production to Fulfill Says Musk

Yea, I agree, too much trouble to be worth the effort. Actually, the CT is the latest hot electronic device! I’m standing in line for two years, then I’m paying a lot of money without even a test drive, getting insurance, registration, plates, and hoping that I can scam some newbe for a profit...

Cybertruck (Orders) Demand Would Take 3-4 Years Production to Fulfill Says Musk

This is an odd idea. Usually, any new car or truck only depreciates for the short term after purchase (maybe only a little, but probably less than new), the CT may not be available for delivery immediately, but they are being manufactured...they are not out of production and anyone can get one...

Full Self Driving (FSD) $7,000 option

Hmmm..that’s odd. My order showed up in my account in minutes. I’ve made changes since and they also showed up almost immediately. Why don’t you just start over...it’s only $100. In regards to FSD on the CT, my feeling is that it will evolve quickly (S curve) at some point and the potential for...

The TSLA stock: a SpaceX launch after Cybertruck reveal?

When you invest in a company who’s vision you believe in - the ups and downs don’t bother so much. Paying a premium for a Model S a while ago sponsored research that turned into 3, Y, and CT. I believed enough to buy stock recently at $500 and now it’s at $650. My earlier (2019 - $250)...

Cybertruck (Orders) Demand Would Take 3-4 Years Production to Fulfill Says Musk

Here are my thoughts: 1) Your number in line can be deceiving for several reasons- a. Many people put in several orders because it was cheap and will cancel one or two of them. b. A Trimotor order will move ahead in line before Single and Dual motor orders. c. Many orders will be canceled...
