A new U.S. based giga factory just for Cybertruck

It seems like the demand for Tesla vehicles are so high, it has enough demand for one more Austin like Giga-factory either in Texas or something else in US. We are a long way from 20M cars production a year. My thinking is: While the demand is so sky high, the Fed tax credit will be available...

A new U.S. based giga factory just for Cybertruck

With such high demand, it seems almost like a good idea to build a new U.S.-based giga-factory just for Cybertruck or any other exo-skeleton Cyber vehicles. The demand for Model Y is yet to be fulfilled, there is such a strong demand to start CT production. Thoughts?

Electrek: Dems propose new $12,500 electric car rebate, Tesla left with $4,500 disadvantage

All Tesla has to do is to set up a "Virtual Tesla Union" with a bare minimum by-law and they are good to go. Shouldn't be that hard. Don't tell the crooked politicians though.

    Rivian Starts shipping to Customer

This is why I pre-ordered the Tri-Motor (500+ miles of range). With air-cond, towing, equipment, toys, it can eat up the battery pretty fast. Good luck with just 300 miles of range. I need more.

I couldn't agree more. Well said.

Fold down entrance to the bed from the cabin

I am willing to lose the vault cover if it means I can get the mid-gate. Mid-gate is a MUST for in-car camping in my opinion.

    Camp Kitchen (Option?)

No one should ever go camping with that logic. You sound pessimistic about things in general.

Fold down entrance to the bed from the cabin

That is such an important feature. We keep telling Tesla about it. Hope they make it happen.

    Camp Kitchen (Option?)

This kind of pop-up tent with rooftop sleeping area may be the option.

    Camp Kitchen (Option?)

Hello there, 1. How heavy is the ROCC? 2. How am I suppose to slide that thing to the front? 3. Can it be setup by 1 person? 4. Fig 11b: I don‘t see how I can lift this up by myself here. Please explain. 5. Looks like there are at least 2 external poles involved. How it supposes to connect to...

    Camp Kitchen (Option?)

I like this. They just need to make a version that can accomodate the CT bed. Awesome idea. No designated kitchen means more setup time though which is fine by me.

Why I'm Getting The F150 Lightning

If there's a chance you will drive more than 150 miles per day, you will need more than the base model Lightning. With standard battery: 426 hp, 775 lb-ft, and a range of about 230 miles. Since all EV owner knows, due to battery degradation, one should charge no more than 80% for daily use...

    What would prevent your purchase?

There is nothing holding me back at the moment from buying the CT. There are just so many more Pros than Cons. It's hard to get something else. To me, of all things, the Supercharging network is the key. Only Tesla has a nationwide, reliable charging network on Planet Earth at this time...

    Camp Kitchen (Option?)

I agree having the camp kitchen on the back (tailgate area) is great because that allows us to open it up when we rear-park into a parking space. However, I hope the Tesla team will figure out a way for us to get on the vault bed while the kitchen is in use. Looking at the CT CGI, there's no...

    Cypertruck backs RV

$135k seem a bit pricy for what one can get. I am sure they are targeting a very niche group (overland, anti-towing, high-budget). Funny… I‘m kind of in this group. I love the camper design and “convenient enough to park & camp everywhere” idea. This one is definitely on my list for that...

    Camp Kitchen (Option?)

It‘s modular and removable. You can take the oven out and put the golf clubs in. Watch until the end to see how they remove the modules one by one.

    Camp Kitchen (Option?)

I like the “Keep-It-Simple“ and ”Modular” approach Keeping it simple and allowing us to get to space in the front or in the back. That‘s all I need. Going with universal standard hookups, etc. The Rivian pass-through tunnel approach is a great example. I can tell their designers have probably...

    Any updates?

Solar built-in panel: I always said the built-in Solar using the vault cover is not that good of an idea. I want my solar panel to follow the sun, not set in stone on the back of the vault which I constantly need access too. Vault cover: I don‘t think it should be a mandatory feature. It...

    Camp Kitchen (Option?)

I saw that photo. Similar to the one shown during the unveil. No prototype. No mention ever since. I am not keeping my hope up that this will actually be a real option for Day 1 delivery.
