  1. Update from Elon: Cybertruck production starting late 2022 and volume production in 2023

It's funny on this forum a long time ago I was like I'm not getting my tri motor as a very low reservation number until the end of 2022 or in 2023 and people were like "your crazy". Now everyone here is like "I saw this coming" rofl. :ROFLMAO:
  2. Vault pass through access determines purchase?

I sleep in my Model Y just fine. A is 79". And the Rivian R1S is even larger.
  3. Fold down entrance to the bed from the cabin

You'd be stupid to drive around with the vault cover open for no reason. Pickup beds are notorious drag generators.
  4. Elon, it's finally time to release the Kraken!!!

For the production spec CT still not revealed this late in the year, it's bad news. I'm thinking more now small scale ramp up in 2H 2022 and full scale ramp-up not till 2023.
  5. Vault pass through access determines purchase?

That vault cover is going to be the worst part of the vehicle I think. It restricts a lot of the design possibilities, it will be hard to keep dirt, water and grime out, it will be hard to make air tight with the seals and rollers etc for all those slats, will be maintenance intensive. It...
  6. Vault pass through access determines purchase?

Ok so that is encouraging, but it's old and he's not known for following through on everything.
  7. Vault pass through access determines purchase?

Rivian put in an access port between the rear seats and their gear tunnel on the R1T. If they can do it, surely Tesla can. This would have had to been a large topic during the design phase at Tesla. I love having the option to camp in my Model Y. Cannot give it up even for some bad ass...
  8. Vault pass through access determines purchase?

I am curious, how much does cabin to vault access matter to people? After I put my deposit down on a tri motor, I realized a SUV may be a better fit for my usage. I want to be able to camp on the road in the vehicle, and I have a dog. A regular pickup cab is about impossible to camp in...
  9. Tesla to potentially make $25 billion from sharing superchargers

This is all about a money grab from Tesla. Tesla customers be damned. Quite a shame.
  10. Elon Musk: Superchargers open to all other EVs later this year.

Because someone doesn't want to wait around wasting time doing nothing makes them a "Snob"? lol OK. Hardly anyone with a Petrol vehicle waits around in lines at gas stations, why should Tesla owners at SC's? Society works best when it is the most efficient, which apparently has gone over your...
  11. Elon Musk: Superchargers open to all other EVs later this year.

As a tesla vehicle owner, why do I care about overall EV vehicle adoption? Especially when it hampers my ownership experience when it comes to Supercharging? And how will opening Tesla SC to non-Tesla vehicle make it "beneficial" for Tesla owners? I've heard zero logic on that question.
  12. Elon Musk: Superchargers open to all other EVs later this year.

This is an epically bad decision. Tesla will regret this. This decision is ONLY a negative for all current Tesla owners AND future Tesla owners. SC network is already unable to keep up with the Y/3's coming onto the road. The SC build out has been way slower than planned. So now Tesla owners...
  13. Ventilated seats.

The new re-designed Model S has ventilated seats standard. Hopefully this is a good sign for the CT. I'd be REALLY disappointed if the CT doesn't have them as they are a item high on the comfort list.
  14. Cybertruck as a tow vehicle

I've done the math based off of other tests and I expect to get around 140 miles of range with my 10K lb Airstream with my Tri-Motor (500+ mile range) Cyber Truck. That is at 70F. That is enough to get between just about any Supercharger gap on US Interstates. If it's below freezing outside...
  15. Cybertruck delayed; writing is on the wall.

When they first announced deliveries beginning in late 2021, I think most of us took that with a grain of salt. With Elon showing up in the Cybertruck prototype at the Austin construction site and not providing any update; combined with the delay and push-back of any new information AT ALL on...
  16. Updated CyberTruck to be shown in a month or so AFTER WE GET THE 8000 TON CASTING MACHINE RUNNING!

God Elon is terrible with timelines. What ever happened to the Cybertruck update? Already half way through January.
  17. What features won’t be standard on the tri-motor and what do you think full spec will cost?

With the vaults sloped sides, the only way you are towing a 5th wheel is with one of these: And not very far to boot.
  18. Cybertruck 5th wheel RV home

Not sure how well something would sell in which everyone has to duck down in the bed-room.
  19. Tesla Cybertruck GVWR Weight Will Exceed 8,500 lbs and be Classified as Medium-Duty Pickup

Another thing you must remember are those "max payloads" for those regular 3/4 ton trucks are completely stripped small cab models. Once you get a mega cab and all the goodies added in, the payloads are sometimes HALF of what those max numbers are.
