  1. Cyberwhistle (limited edition) on Tesla Shop

This was a test to see if CT buzz is still alive. Post a ridiculous product on the store to find out how long it takes to sell out.
  2. CT Solar - Cost Estimations/etc

I view it as a trickle charger for your CT. When you need it, it will be a godsend. all other times it will be of minimal utility.
  3. Cybertruck vs R1T vs F150 Lightning : Ben Sullins' thoughts after riding in each

Ben is kind of a whiny baby IMO. I do agree with him the CT interior is a bit overly minimalistic, but Ben is still a big baby.
  4. Earnings Call - Cybertruck Q&A: Tesla Confirms and Discusses Latest Sighted Alpha Prototypes

Yeah, that makes sense. I assumed they were past that already. I forget the exact quote from Elon, but it sounded to me like they were past iteration and preparing for production. In any case, we have been given a timeframe of 'production by end of 2022' so lets hope they can deliver on time!
  5. Earnings Call - Cybertruck Q&A: Tesla Confirms and Discusses Latest Sighted Alpha Prototypes

Elon said the CT design was final a long time ago. I guess he changed his mind. Not a problem but we on the interwebs have been waiting a long time!
  6. 📷 Cybertruck spotted with windshield wipers, side mirrors, wheel aero covers removed, staggered wheels/tires!

It looks like the front has a goofy looking smile / pug nose... umm no thanks
  7. TESLA SHOULD CANCEL THE CYBERTRUCK

1.2 million pre-orders, fools every one!
  8. 📷 Cybertruck spotted with windshield wipers, side mirrors, wheel aero covers removed, staggered wheels/tires!

Could be an early prototype that one of the engineers took for a joy ride?
  9. Outside of Cybertruck

    Vantablack would be cool.
  10. These guys have been doing it for 100 years...

I heard a YouTuber say Model 3 only takes 4 hours (no idea where that number comes from). Point is, they are fast. I assume that is only counting general assembly start to finish. Obviously it takes way longer to get the parts ready.
  11. Couldn't wait any longer.

My "can't wait any longer" vehicle is likely to be a 2022 Tundra. I'd love a Model Y, but the range is shit. here in the frozen wasteland known as Canada, distances are vast, charging network is scarce, and cold weather kills range. 400 miles is my bare minimum. Also, Model Y is no good for...
  12. Bridgestone aims for EV tires to make up 90% of sales by 2030

Yes I agree, seems fishy. My guess - EV manufacturers are desperate to get high range estimates so they are turning to low resistance tires to boost range. At what cost? everything you mentioned... Perhaps someone who actually owns a Tesla can chime in?
  13. Tesla’s Elon Musk highlights Cybertruck’s uniqueness, explains adoption of yoke

Yoke seems like it would be awful for difficult parking, backing up trailers, etc. But totally amazing for FSD situations.
  14. Update from Elon: Cybertruck production starting late 2022 and volume production in 2023

Very sad... But at least now we know and can plan accordingly. I can't wait that long, my vehicle is dying. I will either buy a Model Y or 2022 Tundra.
  15. A Unionized Tesla Workforce Could Benefit All Parties

Collective bargaining is a nice idea but when government gets involved to protect unions it all goes to crap. I sincerely hope Tesla doesn't join the UAW ever.
  16. Tesla's AI Day Event Did A Great Job Convincing Me They're Wasting Everybody's Time

The author clearly has a lot of knowledge and wisdom, he must be very wealthy from his many successful business ventures in the tech space.
  17. Cybertruck takeaways from AI Day: coming in about a year & getting upgraded AI hardware for FSD

Another year!? That makes me very sad... As order number 546,000 it may well be 3-4 more years before I park a CT in my driveway. My Mazda 6 can't last that long!
  18. Forget the wrapping, heat color your ct body!

I think this is a really cool idea. somebody else posted about it before. You'd have to be careful as there are electronics and plastic bits behind the doors etc. Ideally you'd heat treat before assembly!
  19. Tesla shows angular glass patent

If I can't have a shark with freakin' laser beams then I at least want a Cybertruck with laser beams!
