We all have our use cases for 500 range and was a key buying spec to ensure our CTs execute intended tasks. As mentioned in other RE threads...I'm keeping the faith and confidence that Tesla engineers pull this off. Out of all the interesting solution ideas on this forum, a battery swap seems...
OP, you can still get a very lively CT experience here on forum. After seeing the new Toyota Landcruiser, one might think auto designs are heading our way ;) Hope ur MY aftermarket squircle arrives soon.
Agreed on early comments re: speed in that setting. Looks like an outdoor pedestrian-friendly retail area. Appears the secondary impact created new loading options and bent the door frames for the pickup next door :(
Most useful mod for me thus far is the CyBin...from Cybertruck Supply out of Florida. Hats, backpacks, tools, etc. Each bin is hand-crafted and uniquely numbered...just as special as the CT itself ;)

I'm with you on the swappability...that would be ideal given the circumstances. Regarding weight, some of it would've been there if orig range targets were met so not a total penalty. BUT, now it might be in a less optimal location for handling dynamics, etc?? As mentioned, I'm hoping for an...
(y)It's kinda fun to wait for this one because longer time prolly means better. I have faith that the CT team will make it happen. Just need a little more time for the chemistry and engineering creativity to come together....the truck and us are ready. In my mind, I don't see the RE as a...
I'm torn on the RE....initially (at time of order), I believed it was a must as I was hell bent on still achieving the charging stop #'s envisioned for our long trips at reservation time. While the extra stops are sometimes annoying, I'm starting to question whether a permanent RE is worth the...
Interesting! I used to love upgrading the motors and batteries, etc in my RC cars...perhaps one day I can have the same fun with the CT as those parts wear out :)
