Cars? I thought we were comparing "trucks."
Not trying to pick a fight here. Just sharing a perspective.
I hit a real deer (i.e., 6-point Mule Deer) at 65 mph in my little 2000 Dodge Dakota while exploring Grand Teton and promptly turned myself into the Chief Ranger, who was merciful. Anyway...
NOPE! I ended up with both types of Gateways. The 3V, which I purchased with my Foundation series credits, controls my Universal Wall Charger and Vehicle to Home charging capability of my CyberTruck.
And the Gateway 3 which controls my 2 Powerwall IIIs allowing them to be recharged by my 34 PVs...

Sorrry for delay in reply.
I did have to approve my installer quote. I did that 4 moths before the Gateway finally arrived.
More about that and how my install turned out to successful but in weird ways (tomorrow).
I've been keeping mine in that big dash. Isn't that what it is for? Makes it a little better protected from vandalism too.
After I got the mini, now I also have room for my hat.
PLEASE HELP ME UNDERSTAND!
Gateway arrived. I have the 3V as opposed to the V3 (super distinct naming convention by Tesla. How could anybody be confused?) which means this will or will not work with a dual Powerwall 3 (and of course universal charger) install?
And when you are so kind as to...
UPDATE:
Thanks to a Tesla email last Saturday, and shipping confirmation email from UPS this morning, I can now report that my Gateway will arrive Thursday of this week. My installer has me vaguely schedule for early Sept.
l'll add to this thread with pics and a summary of how my install...
I have pretty much the same problem. I've signed a contract with an installer, taken out the "not really a construction loan" that I'm already paying interest on to install 2 Powerwall IIIs (BTW CT come with the equivalent of 9) and (34) 400W PVs and all I've got for my $80k in financing is new...
I feel it's time for a new thread about voucher financed Powershare Gateway orders and eventually direct deliveries to home & truck owners.

Pro Tip: If you need to convince yourself, by telling others, that taking the supercharging miles or buying the probmatic tent was the...
Thank you VERY much Bothwalien,
I did get the email shortly after making tossing this message in a bottle, and I'm kind of in a similar situation where my installer was ready to install 34PVs 2 Powerwall IIIs, etc. 2 months ago and just waiting for my Gateway III that comes with CyberTruck. I...
Abso-damn-lutely!
Sending that email soon.
P.S. I've thrown this request out on CyberTruck Owners Club to several of your aftermarket competitors as they introduce themselves and their CT acessories and products. You are the first to so interest.
Better luck next time other guys!
Cool!
I'm shopping for a bed-extender / tailgate fence.
It would be great to get another 2 ft for plywood, drywall, full length mattress, and room for my electric pump so that I can empty my water tank even faster than what gravity provides... Especially when unloading water on Mars where...
Slight Change of Subject:
Has any of the OG and super helpful PG delivery recipients (I'm looking at you DumpsterFire!) got their Tesla Gateway 3 and Universal Wall Charger email yet?
AND if so, which "Tesla Certified Installer" was your "kit" sent to?
I took delivery on April 27 and nothing...
Hey!
Where are all the moralistic, 1/2-my-age fuddy-duddies?!
I was exited by the chance I could remind them how Virginia is always looking for more law abiding immigrants. That's the only state in the nation who doesn't want you to know when you are under surveillance.
And then I was hoping...
Nope!
Uniden has had laser detection since V5? IDK for sure I didn't have the good sense to switch away from all those lessor brands like Cobra, Passport, Escourt, etc. Until Uniden 6.
Besides Laser is only line of site and usually from a stationary location. If you are not slowing down for...
IDK how much of the rest of the community is using their CyberTrucks like a truck, but I definitely need a "bed extender" / "tailgate fence."
Lost some shelving parts due to Home Depot leaving box out in the rain and my joyful acceleration may or may not have been a contributing factor to parts...
Never got clear sky here in Southern Utah but cloud glow was awesome as imaged, less dramatic to the naked eye as is always the case with red emmission.
