    I think we'll see a 150kwh battery pack go 500 miles :). About 300wh/mi is what I expect from the CT (real world driving probably 400wh/mi lets be honest). So around 3 miles per kwh, 12 miles per day is 4kwh. 5-6 usable hours of sunlight per day is 670-800W required in best conditions.

    Math Bed cover surface area 1981mm x 1448mm =~ 2.8sq meters Rear glass surface area (going to assume 1/4 the area) 990mm x 724mm =~ 0.71sq meters Combined we get around 3.5sq meter of solar area on the CT. 200W per sq m puts us at, 200Wx3.5 = 700W! 700W is my prediction.

    If we get anything close to 700W+ we'll be lucky (still hoping for 1kW!). Personally I think they will only be able to achieve 500W but there's a lot you can do with that power.     Look at how far the dash goes, I'm guessing the frunk is quite deep. Personally I think the curved front glass makes it look way more polished and refined.

    That would be the dream! Definitely wishful thinking. But there is enough real estate - take a look at the Aptera they fit 700W (!!!) of solar on that tiny 3-wheeled car.

    Actually yeah that would be more likely. I would rather have a workable passthrough than PV cells on rear glass.

    Anyone else think this rear glass is too dark to be tint? Almost like its... solar cells.

    I measured it using an online toner and its at C8/D8 note or 4200-4600hz. Its really high pitched.
