Guess I’m bitch… Should be plenty of room!

Instrument Cluster Display + Auto Shift Out Of Park + Steering Yoke confirmed in new Cybertruck pics @ Giga Texas

Wasn't there something a while back about the dash being some type of OLED glass rather than the cardboard the launch prototype was made from? Haven't heard anything about that lately. I was hoping it would be a way to customize your dash to a variety of options, from marble to wood grain. Or...

Cybertruck Photos Leaked! 📸 [Added: Video Showing Whole Truck -- Rear & Bed]

Ugh, if it DOES extend with every stroke, I might get sick watching it over and over and over... And I'm still hopeful this is a removable piece like the side mirrors to make the NHTSA happy, and we'll have an electromagnetic blade from top to bottom that goes left to right, or the frickin'...

    What would prevent your purchase?

I'd say probably price... of Bitcoin. I literally bought 1BTC when the price was much lower than it is now knowing it would blossom so I could buy my CT with it. I'd love to see BTC break $100K before I get my notification to build. Hopefully both happen sooner than later. I'd love to see a...

    Cybertruck test pilot signups?

I had some Cayenne wheels refinished in gloss black with Pirelli PZero's mounted on them. My wife hit a curb within two hours of them being on the car.

Reuters: Tesla delays production of Cybertruck to early 2023

I can't imagine they'll push production yet again by one more quarter. If they even make one in 2022 Q4 they can say they started production then. If they delay again to re-design because competition is putting trucks out there before them with similar features, they'll never get this launched...

    SilveradoEV 2024 deets finally revealed:

I just watched their YouTube video. Most of their "innovative" features were totally ripped-off from CT (adaptive air suspension, frunk, 4-wheel steer (well, maybe that was GM from the Sierra Denali days), auto-pilot, power your house, etc.). I do love the design, and it checks ALL of the boxes...

    SilveradoEV 2024 deets finally revealed:

Yup. I believe Elon said himself that he tries to over-deliver. He also said the CT is going to be a tech powerhouse, so I have high hopes still.

The tri-motor got an upgrade to quad-motor, can this be possible for the other models as well?

A more recent leak/comment would appear that CT will now come in Dual, Quad, and Plaid models, possibly making CT1 and CT3 res holders have to change up their res. I'm hoping they just upgrade the all three across the board (CT1 becoming CT2, CT2 to CTQ, and CT3 to CTP) and adjust pricing a bit...

Rumored Cybertruck Configurations - Dual, Quad, and PLAID

Exactly my angle as well. Although I may just upgrade to the CTQ, better than a step down. Can't imagine how much more expensive the CTP would be. The CT was supposed to be affordable.

Folding rear seats (& center seat) confirmed in new Cybertruck patent! Points to possible pass through?

Seats fold forward, pass-through opens backward into bed creating a slight incline into the cab. That's my guess, anyway. There would obviously need to be safeguards preventing the rollup cover from operating when the pass-through is used, but that would also make it impossible to have the cover...

Due to Tonneau Cover design, no bed-cab pass through

I was thinking the same thing, but open OVER the roof, not under. Then it could easily double as solar cells and continuously work as it would always be exposed whether open or closed.

Tesla says it won't honor retroactive Full Self-Driving FSD pricing for discontinued models

So you really think the CT3 is going away? I would think that only the CT1 would be gone, opening the door for CT3 res holders to upgrade to CT4, and those "top-tier" buyers would take the hit on forfeiting FSD price lock. Otherwise, they should just upgrade every current reservation with an...
