    FSD 12.5.5.2 Gripe list

Tried using in a National Park with a speed limit of 45 mph. No tolerance here for anything above 48mph! Park police right about that to protect people, other cars on narrow 2 lane roads, and large numbers of wild animals that people come to see. 12.5.5.2 will go well above 50 mph. No way...

Public REACTIONS to Your Cybertruck (and Your Reaction)? [Admin Warning: NO POLITICS]

The way the heavy equipment people responded says it all for me. They live in the real world! Cheering for them 100%.

Public REACTIONS to Your Cybertruck (and Your Reaction)? [Admin Warning: NO POLITICS]

Living in “Moose” Wyoming on a dirt road so I can identify. Some royal responses in Pinedale. I parked at the NAPA auto parts store where we were buying some spark plugs for a very old speed boat on Fremont Lake. All the staff in the store came out to take a look and ask me questions. No...

After paying for everything, everything’s free

Solar so perfect, so available, except where we are – lots’s of sun, yes, and for 3 seasons, but last we checked winter with severe ice and snow is tougher than the currently available solar roof tiles can reliably function and survive. Would love to be wrong!

What's your ideal second vehicle to the Cybertruck and why?

Where we live - 4 seasons, paved and dirt, miles from an interstate — redundancy counts. Toyota Land Cruiser, and or Tundra do well especially when you have a 500 gallon fuel tank on site. Reliable electricity (city, village, rural, to wilderness) is now clearly vulnerable to outages or even...

My first Big Island (Hawaii) Off-Road experiences with my FS AW Cybertruck - peaking at 13,728 ft elevation

We took a jeep rental. Charged up at speed on dirt portion with no problem. As a an X driver in the recent past I would go slow up and down If they allow that vehicle. It is 4 wheel drive.

We drove Mauna Kea this summer just before dawn. Great test of regenerative brakes! Go CT.

Cybertruck Ride Comfort on road trips (vs Model X / Y with air suspension)?

4 year driver of 2020 XP: an older man of average weight and height. One thought is the smooth and stable ride of the new CB is surely related to the suspension and the steering. Both combine to increase the overall sense of security, and comfort. The Beast also performs well on all road...

    Cyberbeast waiting room ⏳

I understand that there are 4 CT’s in Teton County: Our Beast FS arrived in Jackson, WY, this week, exceeding all expectations. I took a leisurely drive into the ranch back-country along the Gros Ventre River to give it a go on dirt and gravel. Given its weight, and the ruts and pot holes...

When do you think we’ll get our first CyberTruck model update? And what will it be?

Good question not easily answered because technology changes are speeding up and the CT is so different from other Tesla models. The 2024 M3 is radically better than 2018 M3 I drove; so a 5-6 year wait seems too slow. Our 2020 MX P is good but clearly outdated. I agree with others here who...

CT Technique going Downhill Snowy, Icy Road

Studded tires underneath — prevents side-way slipping as well for this heavy vehicle. A CT or Rivian can start sliding when stopped at a light or parked In a driveway.

Why the ONE FINGER salute for the Cybertruck?? Top 10 reasons for the hate!

Back to responses to the CT. So few are here so far, only one in my neighborhood of old and newer cabins and homes carved from an 1895 cattle and horse ranch. We, or may I say”I”, shall soon drive the second, another CB, and given the local love of classic cars and farm vehicles, the CTs...

Why the ONE FINGER salute for the Cybertruck?? Top 10 reasons for the hate!

For entrepreneurs there is so much risk and uncertainty that for Musk to survive and succeed looks like some weird mix of miracle, luck, courage, brilliance, teamwork, support, and a persistence altogether unforgettable, but NOT “mere” anything. SpaceX we all remember, those of us who watched...

Why the ONE FINGER salute for the Cybertruck?? Top 10 reasons for the hate!

You are so right, experts and evidence are invaluable now, and rarely appreciated enough. I am not boasting when I reveal that I am 80 years old, and that the smallest city I lived in growing up was Los Angeles, and then I spent my life reading, teaching, and writing history and politics...

Why the ONE FINGER salute for the Cybertruck?? Top 10 reasons for the hate!

Good comment about Musk himself. Having read several of the biographies of Elon, none great, and after following him for years and driving four different Teslas (and the CB coming), for me, he and his work are far from perfect; but then I think of him as a free spirit with the heart of a child...
