  1. Crybaby Comeback: Shut Down Haters & Stay Lovin' Your CT

I just look forward and completely ignore them. Drives them FCKING crazy. Had an F-150 pacing me on the highway with his window down, screaming, flipping the bird, just getting more and more aggravated while I let the truck drive me along in chill mode. I started singing along with the music and...
  2. Reconsidering My CT order, YouTube Reviewers stating it's another Edsel, worst new car flop ever

#1 selling electric truck of 2024 = total flop. Uh, okay. so, how are the Silverado and F-150 EVs looking then by that metric?
  3. Remember why you reserved a Cybertruck? Do you feel the same way now?

Eh, I'm curious how insurance and future registration uploads will play out, since the model won't match. Also, if you got into an accident now, they could say you weren't driving the correct vehicle, and you're not insured. That's what I'm always afraid of at least. I'm still in chat with them...
  4. Remember why you reserved a Cybertruck? Do you feel the same way now?

"Sorry to say that the Tesla Cybertruck is not added in our vehicle list" - after 20 minutes of trying to get someone to add me, finally got an answer. Same as I got months ago. You got lucky I think :( Does it show up as a Cybertruck in your app? What does it let you drive as?
  5. Remember why you reserved a Cybertruck? Do you feel the same way now?

Too bad Uber won't let us on their network. :( Lyft lets us drive for them at least.
  6. Tesla Arson in Las Vegas

What's reasonable care? Are you a Toyota dealer in a quiet town with no enemies? Then they likely took reasonable care. Are you a highly targeted company with a rash of recent arsons, vandalisms, and gunfire at your properties? I would question if their measures rose to the level of "reasonable...
  7. Tesla Arson in Las Vegas

They were in the care of the Service Center, I'd hope my insurance wouldn't be involved and it would all be on Tesla. If my truck was returned with a dent (somehow) on the door, or cut in the seat, I'd be demanding they fix it, I may have to prove it didn't have it before hand. If it was a...
  8. First Jerry rig everything, now mark rober 🧐

He didn't say it's not self driving because it requires a babysitter. You can get in a Model 3 and monitor it as it leaves your driveway, then drives all the way to the grocery store and parks itself. You just make sure it doesn't make any mistakes. That's self driving. You get in an autopilot...
  9. Bed Textile Mat for Cybertruck launches in Tesla Shop

Damn, product is gone now. Didn't even last 3 months. hah. It was cheap, complete mat set for $79, including bed. I imagine they'll last a few years at least, just obviously not a Tesla quality product. Link in case you're still interesting and it comes back...
  10. First Jerry rig everything, now mark rober 🧐

Sounds like a long, drawn-out process. During that process, discovery sounds like it could be particularly interesting. There's usually agreements between creators and sponsors, you must show x and y happening with z product. Maybe it was more under the table, with Mark being friends with the...
  11. First Jerry rig everything, now mark rober 🧐

I just discovered Meet Kevin because of these two Mark Rober videos. What kind of lawyer are you? Think Tesla can/will go after them? Seems like market manipulation with a LiDAR company about to go out of business/get delisted from the NASDAQ surging 26% after this video with highly questionable...
  12. First Jerry rig everything, now mark rober 🧐

Are you suggesting not slowing down in wet, icy, vision restricted conditions? As an FYI, lasers can't see through snow, and worse, droplets from real fog, snow or rain make the laser sensors crap out, VW, BYD, Mercedes, etc. default back to cameras and radar (if radar is still working) in those...
  13. Bed Textile Mat for Cybertruck launches in Tesla Shop

Yeah, seems a bit over priced, and thin. Got a cheap rubber one from Amazon a while ago, it's been great.
  14. OOPSY - I backed up into a nice old lady's driver side door with minor bumper scratch to my cybertruck.

Everyone failed here. Lady should have held the horn down. Maybe flooded it or at least turned away. CT didn't use any of their backup cameras apparently. I basically drive via those things when backing up, there's just no visibility outside of them. Luckily, in good weather, they're amazing.
  15. OOPSY - I backed up into a nice old lady's driver side door with minor bumper scratch to my cybertruck.

FAKE. I've seen scientific testing prove that the bumper and rear casting fall off at the drop of a hat. /s But seriously, it held up amazingly well! I'm glad no one was injured. I hope you watch your backup cam when backing up after this! Or, back into all spaces, so you have amazing...
  16. Cybertruck vs. the airline lines, parking, shuttles, and TSA?

For me, it's about losing vehicle value. I drove my Model 3 across the country 8 times or so, sold it with over 120K miles on the ODO. I want to do the same with my Cybertruck, but I'm worried about running down the warranty too fast, in case I have any problems. Anywho. FSD did 99% of my...
  17. Cybertruck left window down all night and an inch of rain got in

Put her in the back - no manual latch there! Just a window button.
  18. Cybertruck left window down all night and an inch of rain got in

My in-laws keep hitting the window switch when they get in and out, STILL. This happens to my windows all the time when they visit. :(
  19. First Road Trip 470miles - Horrible Efficiency - Cyberbeast w Cyberwheels

Yup, efficiency beast. That's why I got this. Pre-heat, keep speeds at 5 over speed limit, tires at 50PSI even in the cold. 3 miles per kWh is possible. Insane for such a large vehicle!
  20. Cybertruck will have low sales regardless of the price IMHO

No matter what, sales will increase as cheaper trims/EV tax credit become available. The more people see them, the less weird it will seem. The hate will die down as people just accept them as another truck on the road. Then sales will increase even more. Or, Elon will do what he said he will...
