  1. Poll: How reliable has your Cybertruck been?

I'm going in for my first visit end of this month. Just recalls and a couple squeaks. Just over 1 year and 6.5k miles. FSD has had some glitches and I've had to reboot the system once or twice, but literally nothing has broken.
  2. First registration renewal fee notice I was shocked [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

My initial payment with taxes and registration in Wyoming was just over 10k.
  3. First registration renewal fee notice I was shocked [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

How do ya figure? Roads and tangential services need to be paid for somehow. Would you rather have dirt roads maintained by locals at their own whim instead? Yeah all states have some waste, but it's not NEARLY what people think it is. Taxes are VERY important, yeah the rich should pay far...
  4. First registration renewal fee notice I was shocked [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

You too...stop being political, this is not relevant to how taxes are assessed. Wyoming was 1800 for me as well. Plus the 200 EV tax, which mile for mile is WAY more than gas taxes on a normal gas vehicle for average yearly miles. Ironically that 200 extra WAS tacked on by republicans to...
  5. Neighbors Called Police on Cybertruck

On the street. Unfortunately I can't trespass the jack*ss. :)
  6. Neighbors Called Police on Cybertruck

I had the same thing. A co-worker texted me saying some dude with a big beard was looking around my trunk parked in front of the office. Then walked towards the police department, LITERALLY next door to our HQ building. He said a cop then came out and they both did something to the truck, but...
  7. Light Harmonics upgraded speakers (Subwoofer/Woofer/Midrange/Tweeter) for Cybertruck

The truth is in the marketing: "100% PLUG & PLAY INSTALLATION: Simply unbolt, unplug, and remove your factory speakers and plug ours in. We design the speakers with the same unique racket" I'm sure these are ok speakers. I'm also sure they didn't even take measurements before and after, or do...
  8. Cybertruck Metal KEY!!

This is the dumbest thing I've seen so far from Tesla. I have a few of their limited items, but this one, just, why????? My wife and I each keep one original key card on us, and they both work on both Tesla's. And I've used mine MAYBE 3 times over 3 years of Tesla ownership, my wife has never...
  9. Tire Rotation Costs

Truck weighs less than my Dodge. Aluminum 3 Ton works fine on that.
  10. Tire Rotation Costs

I've got a couple snakes and an ear camera, good to go! 😄
  11. Tire Rotation Costs

I mean, I do the first, not exactly hard, sure as hell wouldn't pay someone to do that. Don't need to do the second, I brush regularly.
  12. Tire Rotation Costs

Then you've lost touch with humanity. Eat the rich!
  13. Tire Rotation Costs

Do it yourself. I've had to replace studs on my wheels because of these places. They basically all suck. If you can't do it yourself, you don't deserve to own a car. Just like picking up your own dog shit and cleaning your own house.
  14. Tragic Cybertruck Accident in SF Bay Area Kills 3, Injures 1

I would disagree with this. Accelerate while FSD is engaged, ignore the warnings about taking over that will inevitably happen, die, all the while thinking the truck will save you from being too stupid.
  15. CT uploading 150 GB Data per day and killing my router between 6-7pm

Oh wow… Nobody would decompress something just to send it elsewhere. You only decompress when ready to use the data. Especially over the internet.
  16. Powershare update from Tesla (10/16/24): activation wait period, Powerwall, solar, backup switch

The Tesla guy did say cat 5/6 will not work. This is very specific. I'm not going to pay a cent to qmerit. They can just f right off. I might give the installer a couple grand off this thing gets working.
