Anyone who uses FSD with the v13.x.x version already knows that FSD supervised is already safer than most humans.
The most amazing thing is that v13 isn't even the final form! I can't wait to see how good v14 is.
Agreed; no autonomy, no sale.
I can't fathom anyone would buy a car in the future that doesn't drive by itself. Ergo, all non-Teslas would see their value plummet if the above is true.
I'll also say that Tesla could have given the Cybertruck 500+ miles of range by adding more battery cells...
$60B market value for a money-losing proposition. SMH.
And this is our "competition." Wall Street has zero idea of how much money FSD will print for Tesla...
That is one reason why I think FS Cybertrucks (and those vehicles that have FSD purchased in full) will not only retain their value but increase their value once FSD is fully solved.
I would even say that Tesla will stop selling cars when FSD can be purchased as a one-time cost: it will be 100%...
Thankfully, Tesla is a global company and is set to sell the Cybertruck all over North America, not just in one particular area in NY.
:p
And globally, the demand for the Cybertruck is much, much higher than you think.
I doubt it.
The demand for Cybertruck is insane and you will be surprised. I know you want the prices to come down, but that won't happen for a few years.
I have tried them all and TeslaFi has been the best for my personal use.
It keeps track of not just your drives, but also your charging history. It then compares your range versus others. It's got so much cool info and it's presented in a very nice way.
I use both TeslaFi and the STATS app...
I'd like to add one tiny tidbit: Even though Tesla's market share is decreasing (well, because Math), Tesla is still taking the lions share of profits.
I'm willing to bet that even when Tesla's market share drops to 20%, they would be taking 80% of the profits. This is because none of the...
Six months later, we can confirm that the article aged rather poorly.
Cybertruck is the #1 EV pickup truck with a massive 30% market share. And the cheaper version isn't even out yet. o_O
The absolutely worst thing that can happen to any individual, let alone a teenager, is for them to hit a "home run" like OP did with NVDA. You will always think that a) you're smart, and b) want that hit again. This is akin to taking a drug and can lead to horrible outcomes.
Also, playing it...
The biggest thing about Foundation Series is your ability to get one soon, especially if you didn't reserve back in 2019.
To me, that alone is worth the small $5K premium.
How is this relevant?
10 months of storage?! In a very high temperature?!
Even if we assume the above applies to Tesla batteries, the relative loss is so minor that it's not even worth worrying about. From 0.98 to 0.89 relative capacity loss? How much loss is that in real-world mileage? I...
I can verify this claim about BMS.
I used to always charge at 90% and had a 600 km range in my Model S. Then the range suddenly started to drop to 590, then to 580. I switched my charging to 70% and miraculously it gave me back the 20 km range that it had lost. This is all verified by...
People who have done the homework realize that FSD is worth more than $10K. I also think that Tesla will stop selling FSD via one-time cost and will ask others to subscribe.
Therefore, those who own FSD outright would see their car increase in value but those that don't have FSD won't see...
There aren't any divergent answers. You *may* be able to get a Foundation series if you place an order now, but there aren't any guarantees.
If you want the non-FS, and if you place an order today, I'd be surprised if you get one in 2026. Likely 2027.
We know that 2024s are all accounted for...
Precisely. Tesla barely scaped bankruptcy despite having Elon at the helm, being in a low-interest rate environment, and not having as much competition as Rivian is facing today.
People keep hoping and praying that Rivian will stay afloat. Well, don't count on it based on all the evidence...
Two observations:
1) RJ isn't Elon. It's not even close, and that isn't throwing shade on RJ.
2) Elon built Tesla as a start-up and still runs it like a start-up. Every cost is reviewed and reduced in Tesla. The same can't be said for Rivian.
Therefore, I am of the opinion that Rivian...
Yet those of us who arguably know more about Tesla has refrained to make any definitive comments. But in this thread alone, you have said:
1) Tesla will have 1M+ Cybertrucks in just two short years, and
2) No FSD on Cybertruck until 1M+ Cybertrucks are sold.
So you were saying something?
