    $7500 business tax credit

Yeah it’s a S-Corp and the credit passes through to my personals, so I’m actually using the credit against personal income via K1. Crossing my fingers… my VIN was 11000 series so I’m not hopeful.

    $7500 business tax credit

Hmmm… I will be interested in this. My accountant claimed the 8936 with my 1120S and filed it. Haven’t had any rejections (yet). What’s the verdict on this? Tesla had to send in something?

    Being impatient sucks

I feel for you my man. But I waited 4 years. No sympathy from me 🤣. But I hope you get it soon and you enjoy it as much as me.

DIDN’T GET THE $7,500 FEDERAL TAX CREDIT!

Yeah I don’t know about titling, but my accountant made clear right before I bought it that the purchase agreement/bill of sale must have my company’s name as the purchaser. Tesla said they would register it in the same name as the purchaser. So we left it at that. I guess you could jump...

DIDN’T GET THE $7,500 FEDERAL TAX CREDIT!

I did! Getting the full $12,500 ($7500 + $5k CO). Oh… and the Feds give a credit for installing EV chargers too šŸ˜‰ Yes, I registered the truck in my company’s name.

DIDN’T GET THE $7,500 FEDERAL TAX CREDIT!

I got the $7500. šŸ˜‰ Claimed it under my s-corp… got the $7500 because there is no income or MSRP on EV trucks for businesses. Passed straight through as a credit to my personals on my K1. It’s sad you have to use loop holes to get it… but I got it.

Cybertruck will have low sales regardless of the price IMHO

Yep must be me! 🤣. Pretty easy for a dude from Texas to forget about snow plows 🤣. Yep, I’m FoS! 🫵🤣 Look where I live, chief! šŸ’© I could give a shit about your market research and who could care less how many times a year someone tows. I have a diesel because I can. That’s why *I* bought it...

Cybertruck will have low sales regardless of the price IMHO

wait dude… you jumped on me about me saying it’s not a work truck. What was the OPs original intention. Did I not say it’s good for what it does? To use the right hammer for the right nail? Then you got all pissy because being rural you haul shit or snow plow with it? Snow plowing is...

Cybertruck will have low sales regardless of the price IMHO

MY definition of a work truck: Something that can haul heavy machinery as in up to 30k lbs: I live in the Rockies. Lots of folks here place this 1400lb hydraulic plow on the front of thier trucks: How about pulling 15k lbs of a goosenecked fifth wheel greater than 90 miles, through...

Cybertruck will have low sales regardless of the price IMHO

The CT is not a work truck. It’s an EV with a bed for doing odd jobs (I.e. hauling stuff from Home Depot, utility hauling, grocery/Costco runs), etc. it’s also a cross between a race car and a light utility vehicle. It’s fun as hell to drive and the tech is mind blowing. The CT was never...

Picking mine up next week - What do I need to know?

Agreed. Yes, right after delivery you should not be needing an alignment for normal road use. However I am saying it's normal maintenance. If someone gets a free alignment under warranty at 15-20K miles, I want to know about it (y)

Picking mine up next week - What do I need to know?

I said "suspension". Chassis is irrelevant. It's not necessarily gradual. Hit a pothole.. Hit a curb head on... and of course rock crawling will wear them significantly faster. I have literally had my alignment done and hit a massive pothole (on a dirt road I might add), and I had to go...

Picking mine up next week - What do I need to know?

Wait! Now for the moment of truth... Since @HaulingAss likes to make statements that are questionable, I decided to research this a bit... So I started with this: https://oceansidemotorsports.com/how-often-should-i-get-a-wheel-alignment-for-my-tesla/ and I thought that @HaulingAss will make...

Picking mine up next week - What do I need to know?

Uhhh no I didn't. You are making conjecture. Sorry dude but I call BS on you. There should be no difference in alignments between Tesla or ICE. I fully doubt your comments on the "more ridgid chassis and stiff suspension". You are 100% wrong on Tesla suspension being better than average (at...

Picking mine up next week - What do I need to know?

So Tesla will do alignments for free during the warranty period? Thats news to me, but if so, thats good news. Mainly because if you off-road with this vehicle, you will definitely be needing an alignment at some point, especially if rock crawling.
