On the contrary, Iām surprised that removing two motors and reducing overall weight by $500 lbs will give only 42 miles of extra range! Tri-motor Beast gives 320 miles with AS tires. If you just look at RWD on its own, 362 miles for 122 kW battery on a 3 ton truck is actually very good.
lol, while simultaneously fixing the wheel cover! š
Unlike the thread of Butt rubbing chic, Iām glad it didnāt take us 15 pages of brainstorming to identify of the gender of this CT hater. š
Absolutely! Tesla/Elon hate is clearly visible in CT sales, but eventually when enough CTs are on the road, people will see CT for what it is - an incredible machine! Thatās when we will see CT sales spike! I hope to see as many CTs on the road as possible. Thatās the only antidote to the hate!
Nope I donāt have that issue, and Iām very picky on noises and rattles. I had motor rumbling noise at 5mph acceleration, but Tesla fixed it by changing the front drive unit. The sound was so low that they had to bring a different technician with dog ears to detect the sound š.
Out of Spec has...
I donāt see any issues with my Beast. The motor whines a bit, but itās way quieter than my previous R1T dual motor. In fact R1T rattled and made squeaky suspension noises all the time! Beast is top notch built.
This price will push more people towards AWD, and Tesla has a buffer to lower RWD prices in the future. If they had released RWD at $60K, they would see less sales for AWD and wouldnāt be able to lower RWD prices in the future. This is a genius move, but itās also Marketing/Pricing strategy 101.
Ugh! Hard pass! This feature alone is worth $10K upgrade to AWD/Beast!!
Those on the fence - just bite the bullet and get this magnificent machine. Itās worth every penny! Of course you might save $7K - $10K if you wait, but is the āopportunity costā of missing out on the experience worth it?
Checkout R1T or Ford Lightning for a comparison. It appears to be overpriced compared to AWD features, but itās well priced compared to other EV trucks! You get 350 miles for a dent resistant truck with 6ā bed and SBW AND it can fit in a garage. You donāt get all that in $69K price point.
Exactly, and after a year or so, they will lower the price accordingly on all models. Marketing genius! I think all these models are correctly priced for the current market!
Or āCybertruck couldnāt meet 0-60 acceleration specs in Boat modeā š
In all seriousness, this is so dope! Iām so curious to see underwater footage of this adventure, if they have one!
The alternative is far more fatal. If the bed doesnāt give away, the passengers will be pulled into the impact. At such high impact, forget about steering or breaking. You will have no control on anything. The primary objective will be to protect vital body parts to survive the impact. Whatās...
I was thinking the exact same thing. Cybertruck is ridiculously strong but also extremely well designed to self-sacrifice and protect the passengers. Such a magnificent machine! This crash is indeed a testament to it.
Whatās wrong with these people? Whipping out a gun in a non threatening scenario is a serious violation based on what I know. He could have caused a fatality if the CT owner did any pit maneuvers to protect himself, anticipating a gun shot!
