Yesterday, 2 kids getting off a school bus waved at me. I waved back. This morning, sentry cam recorded a gentleman getting out of the Subaru that parked next to me, and walking away. That is all.
Cyberbeast - works fine on snow/ice with nothing special turned on or off. Stable as heck on take off and when stopping, respect the fact that braking distances are the typical 2-3X that of dry pavement.
I've been followed into parking lots because kids in the other vehicle are yelling at Mom to follow me so they can get a close look. Happened twice on just this Friday. I always oblige for a photo op with the kids sitting in it. Even when the wind chill is 0 F.
If you can get hold of sales advisor they can look at the status, but it may not say much other than in transit.
I waited from Jan to June so no sympathy about a 10 day wait.
Routine cleaning - glass cleaner like Sprayaway and a rag. Stubborn bugs on the front of the frunk, something like Formula 409 followed by glass cleaner. Once in a while I get ambitious and give it a real car wash. I have to say though this the easiest exterior to maintain of any vehicle I...
So today I hauled some pine tree cuttings to the landfill for composting. While I was throwing those onto the brush pile, landfill employee operating a giant front loader walked over and the usual questions came:
What is it? Who makes it? and, I never seen one before.
I gave him a quick 2 minute...
Super exciting to get yesterday afternoon, but heed the warning that this is early access software. Last night it tried to run a red light, safety critical intervention needed.
Last night it tried to run a red light at a simple intersection, causing me to intervene with a safety critical disengagement. So heed the warning that this is early access software.
Installed and tested in Michigan. No safety or comfort related issues, just an accelerator press to urge it through a blinking yellow that's always been hit or miss with FSD. Anybody with prior FSD experience shouldn't have a problem using it.
Can verify that it's a chick magnet. Too bad I'm 70.
I've taken mine to some cars and coffee and small car shows. Definitely gets a crowd and tons of questions.
Next week I'll show it here. Should be fun. Northwood is one of two colleges sponsored by NADA.

Reports circulated that some Cyberbeasts had a front drive unit with the wrong (AWD) inverter, which limited the top speed to 114 mph.
I was able to verify (legally) that mine has the correct inverter. Yes it's stable and smooth at 120 mph.
My CB was also "way behind" in VIN. No reason for it to be a reject since the only visible issue was a piece of trim that was easily put "in spec". I go with the "wow, I didn't figure the payment would be that high" theory for purchasers backing out.
Agree, stupid easy to keep clean. Formula 409 to take bugs off the front panel of the frunk, followed by glass cleaner there and also the tailgate. Done.
