I just drove over 200 miles with this on the dash, never lost connection, and it didnāt move AT ALL.
The metal bracket is simply a rack ear for a piece of equipment that I have on a shelf instead of in a cabinet. Itās not āhard inā but has just enough friction to keep the dish happily in place.

I have to say that some of the locations are a bit of a bear, but it wasnāt hard overall.
Stopped at AutoZone and found this wand for $12 or so. It works GREAT. Comes with three pads - just used invisible glass on one, swapped to a dry one to clear, jumped in the passenger seat and did it again on the other side.
