The spreadsheet is not official from Tesla, you manually input your data into it if you so choose. It’s also a bit of a guesstimate. It may be a bit more accurate for early reservations and the further out you are the larger the gap becomes. Others a bit more familiar with it will, I’m sure...
I think that’s the problem with using stainless steel cleaner made for appliances, the product smears and is sometimes oily, not what you want in a vehicles surface. I posted in the ceramic coating thread what was recommended to me for the SS panels on a DeLorean and it is a product called...
Years ago, when considering purchasing a DeLorean, I had emailed Opticoat whom makes imo one of the best ceramic coatings and had correspondence with Dr. Ghodoussi. He is the founder of Opticoat. I had used ceramic coatings on multiple vehicles by this point and asked him if he recommended it...
Sorry if it was mentioned in here already and I missed it, but I saw an article which called this wiper design a switchblade design. The article didn’t go on to say how they know it is a ‘switchblade’ design but if it does swing open and closed for shorter length like a switchblade, sure sounds...
The article mentions their sources say Elon has a considerable list of changes he wants made. If true, I’ll trust Elon and his judgement on things he wants changed or addressed before production begins even if that means speculative articles such as this turn out correctly guessing the correct...
If the video scares people into getting their $100 back thus moving me up on the list, let them have their opinions, we know what opinions are like anyways…
For all of you liking the gold tone appearing in these recent photos, petition American Express, they have experience in this field. Though their up charge is a lot and demand in the past was near non existent.
I've looked but may have missed it, did anyone grab a decent photo of the inside with possible updates from the prototype? All the interior pictures I've seen people try and take were nothing but glare/reflections off the glass.
Watching the live stream waiting for it to begin in one window, here on the forums in another and refreshing the tesla shop in a third window hoping they release some new cybertruck related items tonight. It would be my luck though that if something does get added, it will be doge only…
I think it ‘only’ took something like 4-5 years for NHTSA to finally issue a ruling for low volume motor vehicle manufacturing (such as the ‘new’ DeLorean). This overly long delay on NHTSA’s part is a big reason why DeLorean has now decided to go EV for their ‘new’ DeLoreans.
I’m happy about...
Overall, I’m glad to see they’ve kept quite a bit of what made the original cybertruck stand out like it did. Too often the final product is a sliver of what was shown as a prototype. I’m talking about you Gen1 Volt, but I digres.
I am very glad to see they’ve now put in an instrument cluster...
Tri motor was $69,900 plus an additional $10k for FSD on other then ‘early’ orders.
I’m bracing myself for them to up the base price of a Quad motor to $80k and the Plaid being $115k with FSD being increased to $12,500.
But it’s anyones guess right now, time will tell…
I was thinking it’s a detailer applied product like GlassParency which is similar to Rain-X and Aquapel but supposed to be longer lasting and carries a warranty.
