  1. What is good generator for CT if in case road trip in Alaska or in desert where no supercharging available.

Most of your energy will be for heating. Don’t use the heater and get a diesel heater. Might even get a diesel heat exchanger for the battery system. I’ve been thinking about this for quite some time as it’s an affordable option to increase range on an EV during the cold.
  2. Just got a Trailmanor hard shell pop up camper -- towing stats

The only hack I know is don’t plug in the trailer lights to the truck trailer port. Plug the lights into something else like the onboard trailer battery, then use an accelerometer switch for the brake lights.
  3. Creaking with slow speed acceleration and deceleration

Put grease on the latch. Go to autozone and get a small tub of grease. Dab a little grease on latch. Problem solved.
  4. Creaking with slow speed acceleration and deceleration

I had the noise happen on my passenger side door. I heard people put grease on the latch. I was hesitant to think it was because of no grease because it didn’t sound like it could be it, but to my surprise it solved the problem. I went to autozone and bought the cheapest container of grease I...
  5. I wish Tesla could add suspension height adjustment from the app!

I just loaded and unloaded a washer. It was great to be able to deflate the rear all the way down, but was a bit of a hassle to go into service mode to deflate and reinflate the rear. Would be nice if this was a simple setting on the screen.
  6. Cyber Fishing rod rack

Just a thought, what about adding rod holders to the bed divider. You could add more dividers with holders for even more rods. Down side is that it could get pretty expensive. Upside is that you can move them around the bed while also dividing the bed for say a big ice chest and etc. Someone...
  7. Vault set up for skis

What am I looking at here. There are no roof racks on the truck?
  8. Vault set up for skis

I’m not understanding your logic, if you always keep your skis in the vault, what is the point of having them. Shouldn’t you be using your skis outside the vault? Afterwards you wouldn’t want the crud all over in the bed?
  9. Vault set up for skis

More reason to keep them out of the vault. I think they make ski boxes for roof racks.

Can you also file a complaint for this fellow while you are at it.
  11. Project "Melt Snow" - Snow / Ice Buildup on Headlights & Bumper Solution (DIY Writeup)

I guess a simpler solution is to remove the plastic bumper cover (summer cover) and install a bull bar kit (winter cover).
  12. Frozen snow / ice blocked my headlights last night

Seems the best solution is to remove the plastic bumper cover. And if you are feeling you are missing some protection, get bull bar kit.
  13. Project "Melt Snow" - Snow / Ice Buildup on Headlights & Bumper Solution (DIY Writeup)

I don’t live in the cold so I have no idea of the issues you guys encounter, but why not have a cover for the area. Firstly a simple cover like what people would put over their windshield when it snows. Some even use cardboard boxes. Magnets can hold it in place. Secondly, what about a clear...
  14. Siri voice commands list

I can say “Hey Siri, Turn on Air Conditioner” Siri will respond with “Preconditioning Cybertruck” I can be just about anywhere in the world and it will work.
  15. PowerShare saves the day!

Do you see Kw usage of the house from the grid via the App? If so then the gateway is enabled and you just need to wait for the truck to be enabled.
