After a couple supercharger stops not able to get the wand to connect, discovered the cause was bent main center pins in the wands. Since then I started looking at the wand pins before connecting it and it looks like service may be just removing the bent pins. I’m still reporting the missing...
After causing minor scuffs on my front cyber wheel covers and tires over the past 10 months, I’m not getting any better so thinking I need forward looking side cameras similar to the rear looking side cameras where you can see the side edge of the tire. Also, thinking Tesla should have built...
Stay in lane mode would be great. My CT keeps wanting to get out the HOV lane when there’s an opening even in Chill but it’s better to stay in over the long term. People behind me probably wonder what I’m doing when I correct back to the HOV lane. Aways a jerky move and cancelling blinkers.
Stopped for a photo op on a rock outcrop (easy level) while exploring the California San Diego County Barona Indian Reservation area. Includes a Motorcross park, Paintball/Airsoft fields, Drag strip, Speedway, Golf course, and Casino/Resort (fairly spread out over the reservation and somewhat...
I’m already putting a little money aside for the CT refresh model. As battery tech continues to improve, it won’t be long before we see 500 mi out of the same size pack, AI5, forward looking side cameras to see the front wheels similar to the rear, and much more coolness not even though of yet.
When not in a hurry, I take a specific route using mostly back roads and a short stretch of freeway for the scenic aspect and also to save energy. I keep having to fight FSD, disengaging, making turns manually, then reengaging FSD many times. Is there a way to save a specific route path (road...
My Cybertruck cover works great to keep it cool and save on the climate control power draw on hot and sunny days. However, in the current crazy times we live in I added an addition to the front logo to help with maintaining anonymity. Any thoughts?
Unfortunately, I wasn’t watching the screen. Just saw the parking lot out in front (didn’t realize it was another lot several feet lower and thought it was a continuation of the parking lot I was on. So I just kept going straight and over the edge to end up on the lower lot. Not a good move...
Surprisingly all the aero fairings survived, but suffered several scratches and gouges to the battery pack. Doesn’t seem to be any punctures, thankfully. I consider myself lucky and will hang up my urban off-roading hat from now on. Anyone know what the bottom of the battery pack is made of...
I did a dumb move and drove off a sloped embankment (in manual, medium height) from a higher parking lot to a lower parking lot only a few feet in height difference. The belly hit the pavement edge, no curb, of the top parking lot on the way down. Just scratches and gouges to the underside...
After watching dash cam recordings of a couple guys walking around my truck, I realized there are two big blind spots by each front wheel. Any ideas why we can’t see video from the B-Pillar cameras in the Camera App or Dash Cam recording views?
$65 at my local Tesla service center in Southern CA. Got appointment in 5 days. They said mobile service should be able to it soon when they get the mobile equipment for the Cybertruck. While in for service they replaced my sail panels under warranty just to be safe, wasn’t part of the...
I went ahead and used my $2,500 Powershare Tesla credits in the Tesla shop app for other things because my Qmerit and New Leaf Electric PowerShare install quote was $4323.75. I’m assuming the $2,500 is only for the Gateway and Universal Wall Connector equipment for me to order on the Tesla Shop...
Sadly I agree, most likely rounded the distance up and it may also round the energy, in this case down, so the actual is probably closer to 3.6 mi using 1.4 kWh. I wish the display could show decimals (2 places would be nice) at least as an optional setting.
After arriving home from a day of driving and supercharging the screen on my FS AWD showed 4mi/kWh for the last short trip from the supercharger to home. I remember driving slow/easy, I may have been using FSD. Any tips how to make this efficiency happen more?
Isn’t there a California exception in the license plate requirement if the front plate would affect the aerodynamics? Maybe that’s why a sticker plate is offered. Although, it would be difficult to argue a front metal plate would reduce Cybertruck aerodynamic efficiency to any significant degree.
The Serra is cool but still to regular truck looking for me. If I had the money, I’d get a Cyberbeast foundation right now with lifetime supercharging. Not sure what I would do with my AWD Foundation, but I’d probably keep it. A two Cyber truck family. Ahh one can dream….
If I was one that towed a lot and I was holding off buying any truck EV because of the increased amount of charging for towing, I would definitely get a CT Foundation now with the free lifetime supercharging. I hope word gets around to all the ICE tow’ers out there before the deadline. I think...
