The trade-in offers are from auction sites, hence so low. I don’t think Tesla will be selling many trade-ins themselves anymore.

I placed my order on Dec 23 and the local Tesla sales person ensured me I will get it in Q1. So it seems they are sending invitations out based on their forecast of 90 days worth of production.

Were you disappointed with the trade-in value? Same situation here, the offer I got was less that 50% of purchasing price while my MX car is only 18 months old with 15K miles on it. I was told by Tesla that trade-in requests go to auction sites. So no different then when you try selling online...
