The longer the cable the more issues you have. More cost, more heat (which is lost energy), more weight for the user to handle, requires the user to hang it up properly, and gives assholes more cable to mess with.
How much are you able to trickle charge? I was always worried Iβd use more keeping the truck awake than adding anything. How big is your camping setup
Side note: Iβd assume you would either need the Tesla toolbox (which you can borrow from any Tesla service center) or know someone that can hack the ECU.
Have you heard of this being an option. Tesla has said that the lower top speed on the truck is because the final drive ratio is lower than any other Tesla. Between its higher weight and extra towing capacity they need lower gearing.
The plaid models offer a higher top speed because they have...
I had a similar issue. Opened a service ticket and they said it was a charger issue. The replacement came two weeks later. By the time the new one got here, the old one wouldn't charge at all. 5 minute install and it was back to normal. All at no cost.
I was trying to keep it factual without adding politics. The totally βlogicalβ trade war has made a huge impact on Canada already. Canadians are very proud to be Canadian and take this trade war very personally. I would guess the relationship wonβt fully heal in my lifetime.
They were incentivising people to buy EVs. Now they are incentivising people to buy other EVs. If you want a Tesla you need to pay full price Thats how trade wars work. One might say its best to avoid them.
I live in Minnesota. Our roads are covered in salt for at least 4 months a year. I try to wash it once a week with the cheapest wash available. There have been a few times where its been 2 or 3 weeks but I haven't had any problems yet. It would be nice if they had more realistic guidelines.
My caps have been sitting in the package for the same reason. I really like the black wheel look with the center caps I bought. Last night, I changed my mind and put them on. I bought the winter tire package, so I have two sets of rims. Iβll try them on this set and if they scratch them, Iβll...
If you look at a front tire you'll see the spindle comes out over the top of the tire. You need to be sure the chains won't ballon up and contact it. Seems kind of risky regardless of the manufacturer. If it were me, I'd only use the Tesla ones. At least they might help you out in case of...
The "Power of Light" youtube channel went coast to coast across america using only solar in a model 3. Worth a look if you're interested in using solar to power a car. This video covers the whole setup within the first minute or so:
The foot of the OEM version is quite clever. If something hits it low, it causes it to wedge tight. This one has a narrow foot which wouldn't do that. This one is nice how its adjustable though.
I wanted to point out that memory is the limiting factor in most AI systems. You could triple or even add a couple orders of magnitude more memory but use it all with just a parameter change. You should always use all of your memory. Itβs a bit of a game of diminishing returns though. You can...
