    Road Damage to Rocker Fairing

They tend to be responsive via the message function in Tesla app. I had another pair sheered off last month. Sh#t design proven up once again. Waiting for next recall or other appointment to address. Approximately $60 parts and labor for each pair I’ve had to replace.

TOTAL RECALL “The Dilemma for Owners with Wrapped Cybertrucks”

I think @SCTesla answered the question better than I can. Perhaps we just have different levels of customer service at our respective SCs. GL!

FSD - Doesn’t go the speed set to

In my case it's more of a "sometimes" than a "usually," but otherwise I agree. I already feel like I'm going too slow at 85, so an unjustified further dilution just makes it more enjoyable to take over and "jet" myself where I'm going.

FSD - Doesn’t go the speed set to

I have the same experience and frustration with FSD seemingly unjustifiably ignoring my speed wishes, unfortunately capped at 85 mph. I'm always in "Hurry" mode (until it resets itself from time to time) and there are no weather, road, traffic or visibility-related reasons that it shouldn't...

    Sunshade? This is the way.

I had all windows, including the roof and front, tinted and while it's definitely still warm when we get in after being parked in full TX sun, it's nowhere close to what it would be absent the tinting. Front tint took awhile to get used to since it creates a bit of a star effect and some tail...

Selling/Convincing the Wife on Acq of the Cybertruck

I always discuss desired purchases involving 4 zeroes or more, so this $120K purchase was no different. Although not value-added in your scenario, her response when my # was called early last year was “you work hard for your money and deserve it, so go for it.” Same response for Raptor and TRX...

Panel Gap at Hood + Wind Noise — Anyone Else Experiencing This?

That's not what Tesla says, what most owners' experience shows, or what ChatGPT reports (see below, FYI only), but I'm happy for you! (y) Mine is relatively quiet, but, as noted in my OP, gets louder with speed and, more impactfully, under certain wind conditions. ++++++++++++++++++++ QUERY...

Panel Gap at Hood + Wind Noise — Anyone Else Experiencing This?

I've already been through the cant rail replacement/re-wrapping exercise once because my driver's side rail was bent just enough that the driver's side front window wasn't sealing fully and was causing excess freeway-speed wind noise. Tesla replace and was going to rewrap it for free, but my...

Cybertruck handled a 200 mile round trip almost perfectly but....

Did you guys accidentally choose UK instead of the US in the self-driving mode selection window? ;) Kidding aside, glad everyone was paying attention and self-corrected safely.

Writer seeking input from Cybertruck owners

I think the oft reflexive, blanket demonization of journalists and journalism is no less devoid of critical thinking than some people's reflexive demonization of all things Tesla and, specifically, Cybertruck. Focused, fact-based skepticism and/or criticism, however, is, in my view, justified...

    Cyberbeast Breach of Contract Arbitration

Sorry, dude! (BTW, I intended to say pick-up date, not purchase date. My purchase date was ~February.)

    Cyberbeast Breach of Contract Arbitration

My Beast pick-up was in late June as well and I received an email from Tesla on July 25th that read in relevant part as follows: Hi [DoberManPin-Sure], After reviewing your survey, we’ve determined that your Cybertruck order is eligible for Powershare Home Backup installation. We matched...

    Cyberbeast Breach of Contract Arbitration

The QMerit interaction was amicable, but burdensome and lengthy in my case. Fired one QMerit recommended installer because after I accepted their quote they said "Oh, by the way, we need to upgrade your electric panels to the tune of $10K." Fired them immediately and moved to the next QMerit...

Why doesn’t Tesla offer white seats for the Cybertruck?

I can’t speak for the AWD, but it could be due to expected passenger sh#t stains upon acceleration in the CB. 🏎️💩 Relatedly, why no “Oh sh#t” handles?

    Top speed limited

My '17 Raptor and my '21 TRX seemed to be limited just south of 120. I've not push the CB past there but 130 estimate doesn't feel far off. I'm in it for the acceleration though, so I personally can live with the max speed limitation. Low 100s works for most days' daily commute. ;)

My CyberBeast went in for a spa day and came back a newborn — with a lazy eye and a missing limb.

I'm not providing legal advice and this response from my ChatGPT paid subscription should be--as with all AI-generated responses--taken with a grain of salt and be supplemented with your own research. That said, it seems to ring true from a logical and social policy perspective. In short, make...

My CyberBeast went in for a spa day and came back a newborn — with a lazy eye and a missing limb.

Sorry to read about your experience, but that was the most entertaining and funny post I've read here. Humor is a great approach relative to alternative reactions. Not much in the way of crowdsourced guidance from me, although the "smiling" lightbar may take care of itself per some other...

    Recall re-glue panels

I'm only referring to the cant rails and assume that's what everyone else is commenting on, but we'll see.
  19. DoberManPin-Sure

    Recall re-glue panels

Correct. I had a cant rail replaced late last year before the recall because it was bent and was causing excess wind noise. The repair was free and Tesla was prepared to pay for the re-wrap, but my wrapping/tinting/coating company did it for free. I've reconfirmed with Tesla that they will...
