I applied a carbon fiber overlay to give the squircle buttons a more tactile feel. It just uses holes instead of [bedazzle] bumps. (I also have a CF sticker beneath the overlay)

I’ve heard from others who installed digital mirror that bad wire management can cause the attention monitoring camera to overheat (don’t block its tiny fan with wires). I’m not familiar with how radar detector wiring is, but the less stuff you have crammed in the shroud the better.

Yup clipped onto a part, which is adhered. Pops right off, then you can use your fist to snap it back in. Start prying from one end and you’ll feel the 4 or so total snaps holding it on. Or watch any video about the light bar wiring in there.

The plastic trim easily pops in and out. Just use the orange pry bar and you can quickly retrieve it (I also dropped one in there during install)
