Got my truck in June but still check here every day. I would’ve never known about the sail or wiper recalls if I hadn’t. It’s also still fun seeing what other people have done to their cars here and I also still check this site as I’m curious about new accessories and such that come out which...
Satin is definitely better looking than matte in my opinion. And there’s a big difference between the two. Satin has a sheen to it whereas matte is more dead/muted. Here’s a pic, the one in the back is matte and the closer is satin:
What did I not address? You just failed to counter a single of my points so it’s you who are the troll seeing as I’m the one with the actual car who did all this stuff. You’re the one with no leg to stand on who is clearly an angry liar. Stop embarrassing yourself bro it’s clear you’re such a...
I never said dips provided more protection than PPFs. And you must be a troll who doesn’t own a Cybertruck if you’re really saying the plastics aren’t smooth relative to other car plastics on other cars, because they are.
You crazy dude you really out here raging and just making up stuff now...
Uh what you talking about bro? What do you mean can be clearly seen? There are no imperfections/texture from the plastic showing up in the dip. I’m sorry I didn’t realize this was your car that you’re looking at in person. Now you just plain making stuff up, it’s the exact same as the rest of...
You seem to be very uninformed. You can get a flat, matte, glossy, satin, hypershift, or any look you desire with a dip. You have far more options to choose from/create than PPF. For instance this is my Cybertruck and I had asked him to mix in diamond sliver so it would have these flakes you’re...
Like the other gentleman said you can def take it through a touchless car wash. Other than that I was told just don’t use a super high powered pressure cleaner-like hose up close to it
$3,700 is including the extra cost for the dipped rims and painted calipers.
I mean most places for a PPF on the low end you’d be looking at least 4k all said and done for just the body that’s not including the plastics or any of that additional cost which I would guess would be 1k at the very...
I was referring to this one which looks terribly matched:
I hadn’t seen that gloss black one! That looks sexy as hell and is matched perfectly I def agree.
Yeah I had seen a YouTube video of a truck they had done that for. They had tried to match it but I could still tell the plastic was a different shade/look than the rest of the car which I don’t like. I live in the northeast so would’ve never been an option for me anyways as I’m nowhere near...
PPF is great but I really wanted to get the plastics done and so Plasti Dip was my best option as I’d otherwise have to pay an arm and a leg to have someone sand down all the plastic to get it painted or even attempt a PPF/vinyl wrap which don’t stick well to plastics and would all cost a crazy...
Finally finished customizing, thought I’d share. Pictures def don’t do it justice. Liquid wrapped entire body including plastics. Smoked out all lights and painted calipers red. Rims are Plasti Dip gloss black.
Really happy with the center caps I ordered too, they the best looking out of all...
You can’t put PPF on a windshield since it’s a blurry/hazy material you wouldn’t be able to see properly. There are windshield protection skins in the same vain that you can get installed that are in a sense PPF for your windshield but not actual PPF
Whole lot of coping and subtle passive aggressive baiting in this thread.
Guys it’s a 50% increase in acceleration. That’s massive. You don’t need to be flooring it to feel that difference. You don’t need to be at the track to get the benefit of/feel the 50% difference in daily driving. I...
