I just got it this morning, updated while I was in a meeting so haven't tried it yet.

I had the original wiper motor replaced under the recall (it worked fine, but no telling if/when it would have failed). The replacement had the "ticking" issue when in the Auto setting and only moved about 3-4" from normal position, and would not clear the rain when it got heavy, but it did work...
