  1. Must-have accessories.

The ā€˜25 CT has a heavily tinted roof, a change from earlier builds.
  2. Power gateway installation? DIY?

I do a lot of home electrical work but would never attempt this installation. It is very complex, involves disconnecting your main power feed from your primary electrical box annd rerouting to the Tesla Gateway, annd other connections to the charger(s) and any other related devices such as...
  3. What do you do if you have a flat tire

Of course we all charge as part of daily life. The difference with an inflator is that it sits under the rear seat or in the bed box and is out of sight and mind until needed. It is not like our cell phones or battery operated tools, vacuum cleaners, etc., where the batteries sit on a charging...
  4. What do you do if you have a flat tire

Nice but you have to periodically remember to recharge the built-in battery. I would likely need it and find the battery dead due to forgetting to recharge. I decided to go with the expensive Tesla 120-V version given the CT has no 12-volt outlets.
  5. Go Off-Grid function introduced for Powershare

I will be able to run PowerShare from my Cybertruck with Gateway 3 according to the Tesla engineers, no PowerShare Gateway. They do not use 3V and V3 nomenclature anymore according to the engineers. It is just (either) PowerShare Gateway or Gateway 3. Still confusing IMO, but that’s how they...

What’s with the exposed stainless lines at the edge of every panel? At least I think that’s what it is?
  7. 50 miles of battery usage parked over weekend I’ve known I’ve had excessive drain for a long time now, but finally decided to pay attention over the w

I left my truck parked in my garage, everything off including sentry, on May 12 with 58% SOC. It wasn’t plugged in because for now we have only one charger for two Teslas, and my wife’s ā€˜26 MY won the draw. We returned yesterday, June 17, found the truck at 36% SOC. I woke the vehicle from...

  9. Go Off-Grid function introduced for Powershare

Yeah, and the v3 Gateway is NOT the Gateway 3. If you want to do everything fully integrated, you need Gateway 3.

Hey, welcome to the club - my CT is named BRUTUS too. This might be like my grandkids’ names - seems like every other seven-or-eight-year-old is named either Hudson or Emma, as are ours. We have family history with those names, so claim first dibs, no such claim on BRUTUS.
  11. Go Off-Grid function introduced for Powershare

I don’t think they will give up. Our system is bing installed, finally, next week - Powerwall 3, Gateway 3, two Tesla chargers, and 49 solar panels. My contractor and I have been in direct contact multiple times times with the Tesla PowerShare support team and FINALLY have been given the...
  12. “Rev it!” This is a new one…

There are lots of other good reasons not to get tattoos but the most compelling include: If you have tattoos you cannot use most onsens (baths/spas) in Japan because the only people in Japan with tattoos are criminal mafia (Yakuza), so they are banned. Also, if you are Jewish, discretionary...

How does this compare with the newest Hanshow and Tesstudio models? I am more than frustrated with the S92
  14. MyQ is terrible, does no one have the guts to tell Elon

Only dropped for the CT, due to 48-volt issue, according to the tech in Rockville, who seemed to know the problem. We know Tesla hasn’t abandoned Homelink because the new MY has it, although we had to pay $350 for a tech to come out and install the hardware. Pretty complex job involving frunk...
  15. As* Hole of the Day

Chill. Nothing good can come of confronting jerks. Not even a sense of satisfaction.
  16. swing away hitch with bike rack?

Check the specs. Tesla has very specific guidelines on bike rack, especially focused on how far they extende. I expect the last one above has too much leverage to meet the specs.
  17. Cyberbeast Foundation Series & AWD Foundation series (Disappeared)

No, just that much taxable income from the business where the truck is used. Plus zero personal use, even stopping to pick up a hamburger.
  18. Cyberbeast Foundation Series & AWD Foundation series (Disappeared)

Correct, plus you must have at least the write-off amount of net taxable profit after all other deductions. Expensing using bonus or Sectiion 129 depreciation is limited to taxable income from the business where the equipment is used. And no vehicle ever qualifies for 100% use applicability...
  19. Cyberbeast Foundation Series & AWD Foundation series (Disappeared)

They are not sold out. Plenty in stock, just hidden for now and unavailable while free financing applies
