I wonder if it's possible to break 400 miles on all seasons on a single charge, my evidence suggests it should be very, very close under the right conditions.
To the OP, on a fixed budget and unless you need every last square inch of load space, I'd suggest a used Model Y. You can get 4 mi/kwh as opposed to 2.5-3.0 mi/kwh with Cybertruck, interior is still very comfortable and it goes and goes. At some point, maybe look at a used Cybertruck in 3-4...
You're spot on regarding throttle control and tire pressures, I always check and adjust cold pressures before any long trip and check every few days in the display out of habit. I think my cold pressures this time were 51-52 PSI across all four tires, some of that variation could have been...
Looks like a slight tailwind, at a angle, for half the trip and a similar headwind, at an angle, for the other half of the trip. Was on the road from around 10:45a - 2:15p
Gemini calls it ~150 of elevation difference. So yes, nominally downhill I suppose over 180+ miles.
"Therefore, the elevation change between Silver Spring, MD and Princeton, NJ is approximately between 141 and 151 feet, meaning Princeton is lower in elevation than Silver Spring. "
Definitely not 700 miles, but looks like 370 is quite possible and 7 hours of driving. Travel was 60-70mph with one slowdown to stop and go for ten minutes due to traffic which dropped my average to 55mph but that wasn't the speed I travelled at.
Drove for 3.5 hours today, covered 185.8 miles from Silver Spring, MD to Princeton, NJ. Highway speeds with one 10 minute slowdown. AC blowing cold on a hot day.
Was stunned to find that I used only 48.2% of the battery. Doing the quick math, that means in the dead of summer it's possible to...
I had an even quicker S Plaid and went for the AWD, 0-30mph doesn't seem much different - traction limited. The Sl Plaid pulled harder, longer, but I prefer the RWD of the AWD vs running front-wheel drive most of the time which is how the Beast operates. Also nice to have two real lockers in...

I don't have any oversize cups, so can't answer that. Regular size bottles like a 16.9 oz water or Gatorade bottle have plenty of clearance. I also have one of these center console organizers: https://amzn.to/4n82g78 which has two additional cupholders so...
I'm not going to rehash the discussion in another thread about getting access to a review unit, you can search for it if you're interested in the saga but I did receive a complementary review unit without any games on Amazon purchases, discount codes or Paypal reimbursements - so I give @CTMODS...
one thing that helps getting more mileage out of the battery is adding supplemental power. This jet engine mounts to my tow hitch and allows me to choose a more aggressive tire AND add to range. With a full load of jet fuel, and only running the one turbine for now, I can get close to 500...
Similar situation of being a consummate saver, spending money on luxuries is hard for me, especially new vehicles. I traded in a Model S Plaid which I had bought used with 28k miles and run up to 36k before the CT launched and my number was called to configure. Normally, I would have kept that...
BTW, I've been driving 35 years and, for the first time ever, installed seat covers to get some color in the cabin. Go figure.
No need to watch the whole thing, skip to the last few minutes. Really livens up the cabin.
If you want to know anything else about the white to help make your decision, let me know. I prefer a brighter, airy, cabin feel and there is a lot of black, and I mean a LOT of black, everywhere. I find the white makes it feels a little bit bigger and brighter. Would still prefer more, like...
Ha! One year of driving and I never noticed the windshield reflection up there since its so far above my sightline of the road.
Go figure, nice catch :)
