Tailgate looks dull without logo / design

I have no doubt this will be an aftermarket mod you could load your gifs to. As you show here giving the bird to the driver behind you would be most popular.

Elon: "I was just reviewing the production beta Cybertruck. It is incredible."

I have seen people put raptor suspension on Lightning but I don’t do anything crazy with my truck and any modifications will be minor like lowering or muting the beeps of Frunk opening sound. Or modifying some settings by Forscan. I agree that it is all about the best fit for use case and...

Love the perspective on these especially the first one.

$40K base but with options, tax, tag and delivery $49K out of pocket and it looks like I may be getting $7.5K tax credit off of it. It was hard to say no.

700K spot on CT line. Hybrid companies like Ford use their shrinking ICE money to kickstart an EV business that is bound to be inefficient initially. Interest rates and inflation are no help. It must be rough with low margins in both segments. Stock is clawing it’s way back up. The only car...

Elon: "I was just reviewing the production beta Cybertruck. It is incredible."

My choices were $110K Hummer, $80K Rivian and a $40K Lightning which Ford could get it to me earlier than the other two. I never thought I would ever be driving a Ford but so far, I am pretty happy with it. I wouldn't feel as comfortable traveling with it as I would with a 350 mile CT but as...

Elon: "I was just reviewing the production beta Cybertruck. It is incredible."

I am guessing you are asking this so you can say you don't have to do any of that with CT but you asked so I will answer: Nothing serious. I got the bare bone trim so I had to add running boards to make my short wife happy (that is my excuse but I need it more than she does). I had to get...

Elon: "I was just reviewing the production beta Cybertruck. It is incredible."

The look argument is pointless. People like what they like and dislike what they don't. Nobody's mind is going to change. I own a Lightning and never liked the look. It is a truck. but I consider blending in an advantage. I do have to travel into redneck areas and having to explain myself...

Elon: "I was just reviewing the production beta Cybertruck. It is incredible."

Guys are OK with ugly trucks because they rather be manly than beautiful. There is a reason for that; when you are in an ugly truck, the ugliness is other people’s problem. You are sitting behind the wheel looking at the sexy curves of the stingray in front of you. Have you ever seen a...

Cybertruck aerodynamics drag coefficient = 0.39 Cd in new simulation

This even answers the questions I didn’t know I have. I wish some of my professors were half as gifted in communication.

Cybertruck aerodynamics drag coefficient = 0.39 Cd in new simulation

can someone explain why cone has a better Cd than angled cube? I have a hard time believing if we cut off CT in half, we get better range. and why streamlined body has a better Cd than half of it? I wonder what is the Cd on this:

Upcoming Competition: 2024 Tacoma Pickup Revealed in Design Images 📸

Totally agree. My Lightning is just a tad too big. Charging in public chargers can be tricky. I think folks that are not used to this size will be surprised by CT.

    Cybertruck Tech - theories

Same here. I thought I wouldn’t want to have anything to do with rear wheel steering at first but I just got a Lightning and turning radius can be a PITA sometimes. I wouldn’t mind if rear wheel could help out with some of those situations.

    Cybertruck Tech - theories

I am curious how often you will have to replace the tires with each wheel having mind of it’s own (vs old fashion alignment keep them in line). Especially with higher weight and power multiplying the Impact of their individuality. I guess it all depends on how good the engineers are.

Article: Tesla advertising Cybertruck can pull “Near Infinite Mass” — What Does That Even Mean?

This almost sounds like part of a presidential debate: - Would you please tell us how far you can tow? - Of course, I can tow near infinite amount of weight in space. - sir I just want to know how many stops I have to make and for how long to my vacation destination when I pull my 5000 lb...

Was the Tri-Motor price accidentally released by a glitch?

That very well may end up being what they do since Silverado , Rivian and F150 will be on the road. Specs may make it a clear choice for some but combination of specs and price will win many. However with all the price cuts, state of economy and bad publicity, Model X plaid with three motors...

A look at Cybertruck & Cyberquad inside Tesla’s Peterson Museum Exhibit

Nice shots. Thanks for sharing. This reminds me of Rivian’s gear tunnel door. People had to get stitches for nasty cuts they got from sharp edge of that door. Imagine tripping and banging your head into this edge or corners.

Was the Tri-Motor price accidentally released by a glitch?

I keep my fingers crossed you are right. Not that I care about the top end. I am interested in the longest range dual motor. Keep in mind, F150 Lightening Pro went up by 40% in less than a year. CT has been in the oven longer than that. I agree with a lot of your arguments on where the...

Was the Tri-Motor price accidentally released by a glitch?

I think Elon is on board with your plan. He said he is willing to go down to zero margin to keep the production going. The problem is convincing consumers that paying less is better than paying more. I would wait until CT production is online and ramped up before starting your revolution...
