I’d prefer no celebrity voice but just to play along, here are two that come to my mind.
William Daniels, though at 95, not sure if he’d still be up to the task. He voiced KITT from Knight Rider for those who may not know.
Peter Cullen could be cool too. He voiced Optimus Prime from Transformers.
I’ve always hoped that would be the case but honestly, I think side mirror view will display in the instrument cluster above the steering wheel/yoke. The OG Cybertruck only had a center display but we have seen they added an instrument cluster on later beta units, I’m guessing amongst other...
I wonder if this area serves as the side marker lights for the rear of the vehicle. Hard to tell in just the still photo but if you watch it in the turn, this area does wrap around from the side to the back as well. Possibly reverse lights on the rearward facing side of that area too? Or are...
In the same way Harry got a lightning bolt scar from a failed murder attempt by Voldemort, this Cybertruck got a lightning bolt scar from Franz and Elon beating the shit out of it with that damned sledgehammer.
Very glad to hear this is still being confirmed, I really want to remove em’ and use cameras for side view. This trucks lines looks amazing with the mirrors removed, at least IMO.
As a detailing kind of guy, I hear you about the plastics but nowadays with all the ceramic and graphene coatings available on the market for trim in addition to clearcoat, keeping the plastic looking new over the years shouldn’t be all that hard with a little work up front coating everything...
Also,
I flipped the rear tire image 180 degrees and it looks like Wrangler, so a GoodYear Wrangler but I’m uncertain of which model if it even is an existing model.
I am guessing yes, they would. If the system fails for some reason, you’d have the mirror as a backup, as bad as the view may be with the vault cover open, at least it’s still something.
I currently have 2 vehicles with a screen for the rearview mirror fed off a camera on the rear (and a third vehicle had it too which I no longer own) and they all had it where if you flipped that knob at the bottom which usually moves the mirror for day/night glare, it turns off the video feed...
I’ll still be removing my side mirrors, as long as easy removal makes it to production, but I do like what they did with the shape of them in this photo compared to the previous ones we saw. This new triangular design flows much better with the lines of the truck.
On another note, is it just...
You have to subscribe to the $50 a year Switch Online + Expansion Pack tier to play. I tried it this morning and while very nostalgic the controls will take me a bit of time to get used to. They’re different then what we’ve grown accustomed to in more modern FPS and there is no custom button...
Since the production vehicle has not been shown and no specifics provided, the answer is still we truly 100% do not know.
I hope it’s there, I’d like it to still be included behind the glass on top but until details/specs are released on the production version a tweet from Elon 2+ years ago is...
