I want to see:
Solar input - third parties will make campers covered in panels and feed the power into the truck
Removable center console and swivel seats like an RV
Some way of camping comfortably in the cabin like having all of the seats fold down flat to make a bed
Modular dash so it can...
I'm always pointing this out to people. Tesla doesn't advertise in the traditional sense. Yet the demand for their products is so high that they throttle it by changing prices. And they still have high margins.
If the rear seats and the passenger seat are removable, it would make a great micro camper.
And if the driver's seat can be made to swivel, it could be a mobile office. Lots of options.
That's great for storage.
But hear me out here. Maybe the seats fold up and stay attached to the back wall so a midgate can come down.
Or the seats are removable and you get a flat floor with no seat mounts.
I can't wait to see the crush test results.

I specifically bought a house with an oversized garage and garage door for this truck.
I mean, I didn't buy a house just for the truck, I was doing that anyway. But I had the truck in mind when house hunting.
My first impressions:
As others have pointed out, the tonneau is partially extended and it hides the back of the bed. I wonder if that's meant to hide changes in that area. I'm not holding out for a midgate, but if there is one, this would hide it.
