The lightning starts at $60k and you guys are hoping the CT starts under $80k? $50,000 seems more reasonable to me.

that’s what we all thought until Elon recently said “It's gonna be hard to make the cost affordable”. what did I expect? Something better than what’s been shown that’s for sure… I’ll wait for the actual reveal but so far not impressed.

After seeing those images of the cybertruck interior, maybe I can wait for gen2 Lightning… I feel like tesla just gave away their main selling point.

Tempering expectations by saying it’s going to be expensive to build should be a hint. Do you think they can sell 250k/year if it’s $80k+? I don’t think so.

Does efficiency really matter when they’re priced through the moon? Tesla hinted the cybertruck is going to be a lower volume, expensive, niche vehicle. ford could really capitalize on the lower priced market with the lightning. They have to get the current prices closer to launch price and...

pickup truck prices in general are way too high. $80k is not reasonable.

if its a 1/2 ton Sierra I don't see how the cybertruck couldn't match or beat every spec except range.

will conservative Toyota release a tacoma and tundra prime? maybe in another decade.

CT skepticism is understandable though. It's a pretty weird looking vehicle after all.
