It will likely be 5-8 years of attention, My Model X still gets more attention than a Ferrari every time I'm in a parking lot with the falcon wing doors up and that particular vehicle still looks like a normal car.
unpopular opinion but I don't mind it being priced out for a lot of people initially. I hope I get mine sooner, I'm sure after the lower trim models start to produce it will be widely affordable.
It’s still hilarious after so much debate on the size and how it looks, it still ends up looking spectacular. This is will be the production version.
I got the labelling incorrect, the models in fremont are the Alpha ones. I've seen the pre-production build at giga texas in person, there are very minor tweaks on that one that makes the truck aesthetically pleasing from all angles. The finish, lines, and overall build are much higher quality...
the wheels are the biggest giveaway and also overall build. Compare this to the one that was shown at gigatexas and Franz driving around. Also, this picture was taken in Fremont, the builds at fremont are the beta versions of the Cybertruck used purely for testing (there's a couple of them).
It deserves to be the Guggenheim, that is one of the most breakthrough designs for a vehicle where its also extremely functional. This is a futuristic design that you only see concept cars have but never make it to production.
His pricing prediction is complete bs, he's trying to frame it that it would cost as much as a Model X which defeats the purpose of producing this type of truck.,
