I picked up four of the 20 gallon bins of course it’s never going to be the same fit and finish as OEM but these are really pretty good. You can see the gapping at the left-hand side four of these fit behind the OEM cargo divider while still allowing access to the lower storage compartment.
Can the lower storage door operate normally if you install the Tesla cargo bed divider in front of 4 of the husky totes? That’s the question I have… thanks to anyone who knows!!
Just wanted to follow up. I still haven’t had an opportunity to long range tow, just some across town stuff. The shocker hitch is really nice. I think most people will be happy with the results and smoothness, but many will get 75% of the benefit with properly clamping their hitch to reduce or...
A more comfortable ride is reason enough for me to try it out, I’ll let you know what my experience is, I’m not demanding anyone else try it out, and don’t worry about how I spend my cash, it’s all good!
Yes, that’s a valid consideration about moving the hitch ball back about 3 inches. I had grok help me through the math on it, and reducing the tongue weight limit to about 1000 pounds is highly conservative. In reality, my 3500 pound trailer will likely never get above 500 pounds of tongue...
Hey all, I’m probably going to try out the shocker impact cushion hitch. It’s well suited to the Cybertruck’s load specs, and most of my anticipated towing is lighter loads. This isn’t the full airbag setup, but should reduce cyclic loading of the truck frame substantially. Yeah, probably...
watch out of spec detailing videos on YouTube. you can learn a ton, and adapt his process to fit your needs/goals/desired time and money investment in the outcome you're after.
Strange how there is no additional discount for new units with demo miles on them. I’d have probably purchased one of those for a couple thousand more saved…
I’m in. 39,500 range. Rep said June 17-22 Atlanta area. AWD White Cyber FSD and bought my own dang premium accessories ?
Edit- non Fs, new inventory (no demo miles) and significant discount, reduced by $8,550. So basically free fsd? Or Free wheel and interior upgrade, depending on how you want...
resurrecting this thread, as its been commonly and frequently discussed. I can't believe this hasn't been done yet by any of the accessory makers:
"The biggest issue is the phone not lying flat due to the ~1.7–1.9mm camera bump, which misaligns the coils vertically and causes overheating. X/Y...
Seems like a temporary range drop. Some time next year with the gen 2 cyber cells we’ll see closer to 400 miles range. Right now, itll serve as a differentiator to sell a few remaining FS.
I have 2 model Y’s, a 2020 and a 2021. 21 has the front laminated glass. My test drive in a cybertruck was substantially more quiet. It was one of the first things my kids commented on too during the drive. I’d say it’s a big improvement over both of our Ys.
You don’t need a horse. You need an ox or 4. They pull literal tons of weight, go forever on charge, but you’ll sacrifice speed. Check out Oregon trail if you want a test drive.
Nearly everyone here who has bought the foundation series is going to tell you that you’re crazy for thinking that Tesla will increase range and further improve the product for a lower price point in the future. You know, like what didn’t happen with the model S and X…. :sneaky:
I don’t know much about regulated vs unregulated… I don’t have any choice as to which provider I can use for electricity like in some other states. But in GA I’m locked in. I’m pretty happy though with the EV TOU plan that I have access to. That said, not any great deals going for solar metering...
